It is OK for Christians to discuss/debate interpretations and doctrines.
It would not be OK for one side to suggest a Christian MUST believe or not believe in a rapture theory of any sort in order to be saved. Nor in order to be raptured away - if such a thing ever turns out to be part of His plan.
A belief either way on the rapture stuff is NOT what saves a Christian soul.
As Christ said.... Prepare as if I will return at any moment... So I try my best, although poorly, to emulate Him.... to worship Him.... to serve others.... repent.... and unceasingly pray to Him....
Come Lord Jesus.... We need ya more than ever.
So we diligently search the Scriptures, so we masticate the Word, We don’t say bygones will be bygones on something as critical as this. This was a topic the Lord spent a lot of time on — being easily and arbitrarily dismissed by those of Reformed theology.

There’s dogma that we must avoid. I’m an avid believer in the Rapture, but you are correct that it has zero impact on salvation.
I imagine there will be many millions pleasantly surprised when the glorious event happens. There of course might be others trying to hold onto the world for dear life while the Lord snatches them.
