“Protestants are heretics”
I guess Peter, James and John were deceived also.
[1] And after six days Jesus taketh unto him Peter and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart: [2] And he was transfigured before them. And his face did shine as the sun: and his garments became white as snow. [3] And behold there appeared to them Moses and Elias talking with him. Matthew Chapter 17.
I see you still have a problem with context.
Do Roman Catholics have any kind of Biblical training? Any exegesis training?
Any Biblical hermeneutics training?
Do protestants have a true Church?
I don't know about Protestants, but as a Christian I am a member of the ekklesia.
Is Mary the Mother of Jesus Christ?
Is Jesus Christ God?
That’s what you think.
See posts #35 and #66.
Devil still got your tongue?
Born again, born from above believers ARE the true church.
The term “ Roman Catholic” is also used to distinguish between them and the Orthodox, who do not hold to many of the beliefs that the Roman rite adheres to.
Is Mary the Mother of Jesus Christ?
Is Jesus Christ God?
yes and yes.
Are you claiming that God impregnated His own mother?
What’s the name of your particular church or denomination?
A concept the Roman Catholic isn’t familiar with.
If only “believers” saw something, and “unbelievers” saw nothing, what would be the natural conclusion? Mass hypnosis. Hysteria. Credulousness.
In fact, many unbelievers saw the miracle, and some believers didn’t. Obviously, there wasn’t a correlation.
Obviously, you HAVE studied the whole matter, and are obsessively hostile to it.
The Bride, the wife of the Lamb.
Revelation 21:9
It means that Mary is the Mother of God, because her son, Jesus, is God.
That is a preposterous myth, like “Pope Joan.”
I have never been able to understand why someone would “ask” Mary to intercede for them with Jesus when they could directly ask Jesus instead.
John 14:6 says Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.
There is no doubt in my mind that if Mary was able to intercede for us, Jesus would have said “No one comes to the Father except through Me and mom”.
If, as we are, saved through faith in the blood of Jesus, on the cross, why would we ask another to intercede for us with Jesus? Why would you need to?
