Personally, I have problems with women pastors.
I don’t believe that Scripture supports that at all.


The bible would argue with you. The real issue is not whether it is a man or woman. The issue is WHO does the appointing.

The problem with women is they are doing their own appointing. But we have the same problem with men.

Actually, Paul wrote that women should not be in authority over men and in the qualifications for elder and deacon, it’s MEN who he talks about.

The reason is simple. Women are more easily deceived.

That said, I understand the point of *ordaining* women when it comes to allowing them to minister to other women in settings where a pastor is granted the privilege others are not. Hospital visitation and prison ministry come to mind.

But as far as heading up a church. No. I am not comfortable with that at all.
