I’ve never really been persecuted for being a Christian, although I’m never afraid to admit it. Then again, I don’t scream it at the top of my lungs wherever I go. It just means I haven’t had the opportunity. If I had to choose between admitting I’m one or death, as others have done, I hope I would choose death. “Do not fear those who can kill the body and after that can do nothing else”, said Jesus.
There's a difference between being persecuted for being a Christian and being made fun of because you're acting like an idiot.
If I had to choose between admitting Im one or death, as others have done, I hope I would choose death. Do not fear those who can kill the body and after that can do nothing else, said Jesus.
Likewise.
Although, I've come too close to dying and it loses its power to cause fear.
However, it's the process I'm not excited about. There are ways I definitely don't want to go and the will to live is strong so part of me just isn't going to accept it, even though I KNOW that it'll be far better.
If I had to choose between admitting Im one or death, as others have done, I hope I would choose death.
God obviously did not intend for every one to go around trying to preach the gospel, most of us are better at planting corn than preaching Christ.
If we do unto others as we would like them do unto us we are making a better statement than we could ever make in words.
