First part correct. Second part nonsense. The Bible has been read aloud in every Church from the beginning of Christianity. Saint Jerome translated the entire Bible into Latin in the Fourth century and there were many many editions available even before the printing press, when there was a virtual explosion of Bible printing. A little trivia for you: Martin Luther's job at Wittenburg, at the time of his rebellion, was teaching the Bible to university students, a required course.
However, you are correct that most Muslims have no idea what the Quran teaches.

Interesting tidbit...One time it looked like God did nearly destroy it. There’s a rainwater spout made of gold on the roof which was added in the rebuilding of 1627 after the previous year’s rain caused three of the four walls to collapse.
