Not really....I’ll take a man who refrains from murder, theft, lying, rape, adultery, etc., etc., etc. because he FEARS God’s wrath rather than LOVES God’s Law.
The truly great difference is between the man who fears God and one who does not.
I don't know whether you are being facetious or satirical or are that deficient in the knowledge of the Bible.
Psalm 19:7 "The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple." The defect is not in the law but in the way/reason man keeps the law.
The pharisees kept the letter of the law and yet Jesus had some really harsh words for them.
The people you describe make life here more comfortable, but it’s about more than just having a nice, comfy, safe life here.
And God doesn’t feel that way.
Read some of the OT prophets about those who are outwardly religious and law keeping and what HE thinks about that.
