The fine is actually being held in escrow, awaiting the verdict of the appeals court. May they rule according to the word of God, not man.
Who is the one discriminating? God? They are simply practicing what they believe God wants. Or is it the homos that sued them? I would say it was the homos. They are the ones that were being intolerant of these people views. Freedom of religion is our 1st amendment. Where is amendment promising freedom to get a cake from baker you please? I always thought that businesses had the right to reject customers if they liked.
No one should be faced with the prospect of being sued for 130K. These people are following what God told them. I would lose the money, rather than being forced to bake a cake. I would also not bake a cake for a Satanist wedding.
I can tell you are not person of God or really principle, so you wouldn’t understand. You side with the homos with this, which means you support a Godless society.

okay, so you are right. Christians cannot own business, because if they operate according to their faith, homo/queers are allowed to sue the crap of you.
My faith does not tell me I am forfeiting my sole by making someone a wedding cake. They took their faith to an extreme in my view. Either way, they can feel proud that despite such a personal cost they stayed true to their faith.
It is up to you. I wouldn’t call you stupid if you did or didn’t. It is between you and the Lord. But don’t call some stupid for standing by what they believe is serving the Lord.
Many believe that it shows a support of gay marriage, something unholy. Same for being a martyr. One would say these martyrs are taking a great personal loss for refusing to denounce their faith. Then again in this case, to die is to gain.

Making a cake for someone is not an endorsement of what they do in their life. It is making a cake.
Okay. People’s minds think about things differently. What might convict me, may not convict another person, and the reverse. Like my pastor doesn’t listen to rock, because he thinks its sinful, but I do listen to rock that I think is appropriate.
