I'm of the supportable opinion that Jesus died on Wednesday, as well. Scripture clearly states, by Christ's own words, that he would be "in the ground" for
three days and that AFTER three days would raise himself from the dead.
He even gave us Jonah as an example, in case of any potential misinterpretation.
