Seems possible.IMO there are two extremes on this issue.One being equating animals with humans...or,sometimes,even placing animals *above* humans.The other is those who treat animals with deliberate cruelty.
The former I'm inclined to feel pity for...except when their attitude could prove harmful to humans.For the other I feel disdain...if not contempt.
Social justice warriors are a look at what a female dominated dystopia creates. In the name of protecting the feelings and sacred selves of various infantilized groups, you aren’t allowed to do or say anything that might offend them. It is fascism in the name of feelings.
This is why the SJWs throw tantrums to justify what they want banned or stopped. It is a play to the moral weight assigned to the person who seems to be the most emotionally pained and helpless. It is also how they get away with violence - they are seen as incapable of self-control and the liberal nannies demand everyone else stop what the child can’t help but react to.
Making these matters worse is that schools are teaching pathological behaviors. The rights and ideas of others are bad because you feel bad about it, what you like is good and should be supported, no matter how self destructive. Transgenderism, cutting, trans-ableism, all to be supported if you feel like it, and Mommy liberals will demand everyone else go along with the delusion because you’re so precious and cute. The opinions of others, the rights of others, the money others have taken from them - don’t matter, because the feelings of the crybabies are more important. And once you give them more, it isn’t enough, they look to the next thing. After sodomy, immediately marriage, after that passed, up comes transgenderism. Nothing is good enough, tear it all down, because when you give in to the tantrum, they just go for more. Fail to give in, and they scream louder, and if that doesn’t work, start hitting the other person - and you’re bad if you stop the beating because the poor baby can’t help itself.
And before you say this is sexist - I’m a woman and a mother.
I don’t really disagree with anything in your rant; but it doesn’t really apply to the thread.
The original thread was about a very small group - 20 people - who were obviously simply putting on a show, and a show which isn’t going to affect many people at all.
I didn’t see anything in the story that suggested a ‘female dominated dystopia’. The event wouldn’t affect anyone, if the ‘press’ hadn’t taken it up in an effort to be provocative - and the story probably doesn’t mean much to anyone, anyway.
I think you’re getting a little over-exercised, and should probably post your rant to a thread that references something more related to your concerns; something more crucial than a few silly people demanding that their animals be considered ‘Christians’.
I insist that the maternal instinct has been crucial to human development and survival, and is worthy of respect and praise.
Better Mothers are exactly what we need, in this country.
(While they’re at it, the mothers could take care of the critters, too!)

Animals to do have souls. They don’t belong in church unless they are a guide dog of some sort.
I am allergic to cats and don’t even like to go into houses where they are pets.
Treated like Christians here or in Iran? There’s a difference.

My dog does her job of helping to keep my house safe. As such, she has earned her right to her food and care.

I don`t usually believe in burning any one at the stake with out a trial but in this case i might make an exception.
It has nothing to do with animal rights but is just for one purpose and that is to divide believers.

It is not talking about a sex orgy with your pets.
