David didn’t have sex with his wife AFTER she died. That would be necrophilia.
Joseph had sex with his wife after she delivered. Mary survived childbirth.
The time limit referent preposition “until” covers both. It limits the period. And that is all it does.
Language is centered in human experience. I hate it when people carve out special meanings for foreign languages and thereby twist the meaning.
To be complete: It’s not just UNTIL as preposition, but all its forms including adverb and subordinating conjunction.
If the Bible were written in English, you would have a very good case. It wasn’t, you don’t.
I hate it when people assume foreign words are merely English words with funny letters. Prepositions are notoriously difficult to translate.
By carving out a special meaning for English, you are doing precisely what you claim you hate.
