Pope Francis Declares All of Festing’s Recent Acts ‘Null and Void’ (Order of Malta)
National Catholic Register ^ | January 26, 2017 | Edward Pentin

Pope Francis has declared that all actions taken by the head of the Order of Malta and its governing council since the dismissal of Albrecht von Boeselager last month are “null and void,” including the election of Boeselager’s replacement.

The Pope…ordered [Fra’ Festing] to write his resignation letter on the spot, according to informed sources.

….the Pope then had Fra’ Festing include in his letter of resignation that the Grand Master had asked for Boeselager's dismissal “under the influence” of Cardinal Raymond Burke …

If the Grand Master was pressured to resign, some…are speculating about the validity of his resignation as it was demanded immediately without giving him time to consider…They...are concerned it heralds a future purge of the Order.

So international law overrules Church and Divine law? Are you kidding me? People need to wake up. If this is a true pope, then he has EVERY right to do what he has done.

Are we about to find out how many divisions the Pope has, versus how many division Malta can muster?

Yes. It was a fully orchestrated coup against a sitting traditional Pope with a marxist thug.

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the Dreadful Judge will judge His people. The End.

I thought the guy was a complete p*s*y in caving to that false Pope. I would have told him, “You’re completely illegitimate and a fraud. It is YOU who should resign. If you want me to resign, you’re going to have to arrest me.”

I don’t believe for one instant that Cardinal Burke is a Mason. He stands for the truth — not the destroying of the Catholic Church which is the goal of the Masons.

If, as the Pope contends, the Knights of Malta are a religious order within the Church, then you are entirely correct. However, the Knights contend that they are a sovereign nation, which is supported by 900 years of history as well as a treaty with the Vatican. If that is the case, the Pope has no more business directly ruling their government than he would running any other civil government. He would have the authority to ban Catholics from membership or to prohibit the use of Church premises among the many religious sanctions he could impose. But to depose their leader and declare himself the head of their government is bizarre and unprecedented. It will be interesting to see if there is any resistance to this and also if Cardinal Burke is among the targets of this (as presumably he is).

To help the Order in the renewal process which is seen as necessary, the Holy Father will appoint his personal Delegate with powers that he will define in the act of appointing him.

Bergoglio is nothing more that a third world dictator.

He is "renewing" the Order of Malta just as he did the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate, the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, the Pontifical Academy for Life, the Congregation for the Clergy, et al. He is Satan's tool and I think he knows it.

They’re Catholic. The pope (if valid) rules over them. Period. Read Vatican I.

I also encourage all other Catholics to withhold funding to Catholic Relief Services, Catholic Charities and Peter’s Pence, until we get a Catholic pope.

&&&
No problem here. I stopped giving to those a number of years ago.

the Pope then had Fra’ Festing include in his letter of resignation that the Grand Master had asked for Boeselager's dismissal “under the influence” of Cardinal Raymond Burke …

The money quote. This is all about taking down Burke. Pure evil indeed. God help us.

The problem is that the three top guys in the Order of Malta take a vow of obedience to the Pope - and it is on the basis that Francis demanded his resignation.

But in this context, Boeselager himself was supposed to be obedient to Festing and the Council. They twice asked him to resign and he didn’t. And it was only then that they stripped him of his office.

And Francis has now gotten rid of Festing and reinstated Boeselager. So what does that tell you?

“They’re Catholic. The pope (if valid) rules over them. Period. Read Vatican I.”

The Order (if unified) could precipitate a crisis by declaring the Pope an apostate and demanding the Magisterium elect a new, orthodox Pope. Until such action happens, the Order could agree not to recognize Him as Pope. At some point the orthodox Catholics are going to have to stand up to an obvious fraud. When/if they do, I’ll consider rejoining the Church. If not, then it’s just proof that the “True Church” is only partly made up of Catholics. Everyday that this charlatan sits on the Throne of Peter, the Catholic Church falls deeper into schism and heresy.

I wonder if he'll use this to take Burke's cardinal hat away, like Msgr. Pinto threatened.

Catholics do. If you don't, then don't click on the thread and waste your time (and everyone else's) replying to it.

Add this poor sinning Catholic to the list. It’s complicated - I know someone here can break it down.
