The Democratic Party has problems.
Ever since Democrats suffered major, unexpected losses in the November election, political commentators have been speculating about why. One of the biggest reasons pointed to is the party’s disconnect with rural, religious and pro-life voters.
On Friday, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough broached the topic with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
“How do they reconnect with a middle America who feels like [Democrats] look down on them?” Scarborough asked.
Pelosi emphasized that Democrats are people of faith, but she said they may need to work harder to make that clear. Later in the interview, Pelosi accused Republicans, who by and large are pro-life, of “exploiting” their religious beliefs for political gain, and claimed that their actions do not line up with their beliefs.
“They pray in church on Sunday, and prey on everyone the rest of the week,” Pelosi said. “And while we’re doing the Lord’s work by ministering to the needs of God’s creation, they are ignoring those needs, which is to dishonor the God who made them.”
Later, she added, “We don’t exploit that because we don’t think we’re supposed to, but maybe we have to make it clear.”

As a pro-abortion politician and a self-described Catholic, Pelosi arguably has done the exact opposite. On the abortion issue, she has voted repeatedly against her faith’s teachings about the value of human life, beginning in the womb.
What the Democratic Party made clear last year was that it supports abortion to a radical degree. In July, Pelosi and her party adopted the most radical pro-abortion platform ever, calling to force taxpayers to fund abortions, support the abortion giant Planned Parenthood and embrace abortion on demand up until a baby’s birth.
To many religious Americans, including many Democrats, unborn babies are part of “God’s creation” and deserve protection – but not to Pelosi. In 2013, she put her foot in her mouth during a press conference, calling the battle to keep late-term abortions legal “sacred ground.”
Her stance on abortion is radical in most Americans’ eyes. Polls consistently show that most Americans oppose most abortions. Just a slim percent of Americans want abortion to be legal up until birth, and very few want their tax dollars to pay for abortions.
In contrast, the Republican Party adopted a strong pro-life platform that recognizes unborn babies as human beings who deserve rights and protections under the law.
What the heck is she babbling about?
How much has your family made on the bullet train to no where, Nancy? And while you reach for a calculator to sum up the 9 digit number, please explain how that isn’t preying on the people each and every day.
She is babbling about women killing their own offspring and pro-life people trying to protect those children. Surely she is a witch, if ever there was one.
Speaking exactly like the adversary, she is. The words of the dragon.
And while we’re doing the Lord’s work by ministering to the needs of God’s creation...
That statement boggles the mind to the point of insanity.
There will be six dem senators and 20 dem house members if they keep going down their ultra ultra left road.
Pro-lifers will answer for their personal sins, Ms. Pelosi, but you will answer for your own and for those you’ve increased a million-fold via the powers of national and international government. Repentance and God’s mercy is what can save you, don’t wait too long!
How utterly loathesome this individual is! This is on a par with Howard Dean’s saying that Republicans wake up every morning thinking who they are going to screw. The demonisation has to stop!
If she keeps this up, Americans wii start calling her “smartass”.

Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington has been teaching for years that abortion is not a sin. He teaches this by giving Communion to Nancy Pelosi and others like her.
Ms. Pelosi, putative Catholic, who prays -—and takes communion!—on Sundays, then takes campaign contributions profited from baby killers.
And, once again, the democrats accuse their enemies of doing exactly what they are themselves guilty of. Right out of the democrat playbook.
The bullet train is Feinsteins thing, through her husband. Thats a rather substantial conflict of interest.
Im not sure how Pelosi is connected to that but no doubt she or her husband have some scams going.

Admittedly, I easily get the scams by Pelosi, Boxer and Feinstein mixed up. Wouldn’t surprise me if all three have fingers into that pork pie. Actually, what would surprise me is if they didn’t.
AFAIK, no, although catholics have been demanding it for a good while.
Abortion is of no concern to Pelosi.
If ever the current Pope has a loyal follower, it’s Nancy Pelosi.
Well, Nancy, if you’ve been accepting donations from Planned Parenthood, you are personally preying on black babies, as well as other babies, by profiting off of their torn apart body parts, aren’t you?
