The Maltese bishops refer to penitents (or I should rather say, "impenitents") who possess "informed and enlightened consciences," who "acknowledge and believe that he or she are at peace with God," despise being in a state of ongoing adultery for which they do not repent.

No real explanation given of how a person could have an informed conscience, the knowledge the Christ Himself considers this adultery, the knowledge that adultery is against the Decalogue, the knowledge that St. Paul says that adulterers "cannot enter the Kingdom of God," and yet are "at peace with God" in their mortal sin.

Something does not add up here.

Not only are the "impenitents" deluded, but their bishops are as well.

Do they think they can be at peace in hell? Seriously, I wonder.

“Something does not add up here.” I agree. Caffarra is beating the around the bush.

Cardinal Caffarra is one of the four cardinals who are bravely asking the Pope for a clarification. And Pope Francis started a war by not responding on 11/14/16.

Caffarra above is being very loving, careful, and logical. He is beating around the bush, since he knows this is a war.

Caffarra is correct to show the confusion among priests. The questions is whether “a person who lives as husband and wife with a woman or man who is not his wife or her husband” can go to communion? No.

Beating around the bush is a signal Caffarra is dealing with superiors who are not mentally healthy, like carefully talking about Trump around liberal family members.

My prediction is that the present war will cause Pope Francis to become ill in two years and that Pope Benedict XVI will be asked to return. Sooner the better. Francis’ health is very fragile.

Indeed. We have been warned from the very beginning. The love of many will grow cold.
