TITLE: AMERICA Prayer Vigil - 01/14/2017 [Prayer]

Let us keep vigilant in our promise to pray this year. We cannot and must not relent in praying for our leaders and their decisions.

Remember when Moses' arms were weary while Joshua led the troops into battle . . .the Hand of God lifted them up using Aaron and Hur. Exodus 17:11 "So it came about when Moses held his hand up, that Israel prevailed, and when he let his hand down, Amalek prevailed." Eventually, Moses became weary, and so Aaron and Hur responded by holding up his arms until the Israelites were able to finally defeat the Amalekites. Let us hold up our leaders to God in prayer.

This prayer thread is so vitally important. It would be grand if President Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence along with members of his team would make a point to visit it daily in this New Year. These are Divinely-inspired prayers that are read “round the world”.

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Psalm 37:7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.

Hebrews 12:10-11Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 14:11 For it is written, "As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."

Dear Heavenly Father - Our Lord God Almighty - Everlasting Father, we come humbly before You with heavy hearts because of the malice that is going on right before our very eyes to threaten Israel’s rightful existence. We pray that scales will be removed from people’s eyes all around the world that they would acknowledge You as the Only God of the Universe and that You made a Land Covenant long ago with Abraham as a continued Blessing of Israel. We pray that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will seek Your Wisdom in addressing any meetings or actions that would seek to dismantle Your beloved Land and Your People. We also pray for mercy for our nation because we have not been on the forefront to defend Israel’s boundaries and rights.

We pray for President Trump and Vice-President Pence as well as others who have been asked, not yet identified and or accepted the call to lead in our new President’s administration. . . a prayer of protection, a prayer for righteousness, a prayer to seek You first before making any decisions. Please Father God, open their eyes to unseen plans that have been created to come against their leadership as well as this country. We boldly ask that You stop the enemy. . .those who would want to weaken this nation with anti-Israel sentiments and actions as well as blasphemy against Your Sovereignty and Lordship. Let the United States of America be that land that will once again rise up and call You Blessed.

We pray for the protection of Christians across this nation . . .we pray that justice will be served for those who have been punished because of their unfailing stand for their religious beliefs.

We pray that those across this nation who are in authority in the classrooms of all disciplines and levels of instruction that are against Your precepts and commandments will be ousted publicly from their positions of influence.

We pray for parents and children to seek Your Will and Way. For parents to be bold in the Lord and stop the infiltration of the evil schemes that are coming against their children. And for children to be raised to honor and respect those who are in authority.

We pray for the protection of people, young and old, that are victims of abuse and sex trafficking. We bind Satan in the Name of Jesus and pray for supernatural ways of escape from those who do them harm. May they be found guilty and punished for their evil ways.

We pray for our nation’s Churches that they will not be found lukewarm or an apostasy to Your Word. Give them boldness in evangelizing the world for Your Kingdom.

We pray for our military. . .We pray that leaders will look to You for decisions, giving You the Glory. We pray for soldiers who are fighting for our freedoms home and abroad. Please protect them and show them that You are their Great Protector, always present. We pray for their families. . .for their comfort and well-being.

We pray for judicial and legislative systems that will be based upon Your precepts. We pray against any corruption in the process of forming laws for this land. Please identify those laws and orders currently in place which need to be removed or changed to be in accordance to Your Will.

We ask for Your protection and guidance in our ability to successfully prevent and quell chaos in this country. Heavenly Father, we ask for Your intervention in the media’s ability to relay the truth. Please find favor with those news outlets who honor You with honest reporting. We pray that entertainment programming will exemplify family values and those who dishonor You will no longer have any influence.

We pray for the safety and decision-making skills of those who provide emergency services to our nation’s citizens. . the police, first-responders, civil defense, firefighters, ambulance personnel.

We pray for government funded agencies and programs that are honest and using practices that are acceptable to You. Let those who are in the business of extorting others be exposed, dismantled and brought to justice.

Father, we know that You are the creator of all, we are in trying times whereby there are those who are illegally entering our country and causing chaos, crime and disease throughout our nation. We pray for a fair and just entry of legal immigrants to our nation. We pray that those who espouse illegal and immoral entry into our country and those who would use the practice of illegal entries to purposely weaken our country or for political gain be exposed.

As we approach the observance of Sanctity of Human Life Sunday tomorrow and also on the 22nd by some, Father God, please help us bring awareness and understanding to those around us including misguided legislators. . .declaring to them that ALL life is sacred and ordained by You, even the life that is yet to be born!

We pray for the medical community . . that any procedures, drugs, injections, therapies that are being misused or not of You be exposed. We pray for the protection of the doctors, nurses and health care providers against contracting any diseases. We also lift up in prayer the plight of those who are in nursing home facilities. We pray for their safety and well-being and pray that You will put people in their path who will show them Your love and Your Saving Grace.

We pray for our education institutions and leaders, teachers, students and parents. . .to realize that the only true education is the belief in Your Almighty Wisdom and Your Ways. Dismantle any educational programs, textbooks, technology teaching aids that do not espouse the truth.

We pray for local governments and agencies that they will seek Your guidance and not be driven by decadence.

Heavenly Father, our country is in massive debt because of our recklessness. . . actions that were not in accordance to Your Word. Our citizenry is burdened with taxes and out of control government budgets as well as out of control personal debt. Please help us get on track and to realize the importance of giving You the First Fruits of our labor. An economy can only be blessed with rules and regulations designed with Your Guidance. We pray for the businesses and agribusiness of this country that they will provide honest wages to their employees. We ask for special blessings on those who honor You with Godly business practices. Please honor those employees that provide their employers with exemplary work habits.

May the Year 2017 be a year in which we ARE about our Heavenly Father’s Business. May You find us throwing out the True Lifeline to those who don’t know You as their Personal Lord and Savior. Help us, Father God, to be bold in our testimony.

Thank You for answering our prayers and placing into leadership God-fearing men for such a time as this in our nation’s history. May they and our country’s citizens be a people that always give You all the Glory. For without You we are nothing and can do nothing. In the Precious Name of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ - Amen

Lord God, we thank you for miracles received, protections delivered, that could only have come from You. We thank you for Donald Trump and his courage to confront evil and corruption. Keep him safe to perform his task. Only You can do that, because the power of the enemy is great and they never stop.

We pray that you maintain the peace in our country and around the world. Bind the hands of evil ones who foment war, chaos, trickery, and destruction. Protect the innocent and dash the plans of the guilty. We pray for revival in our country, and a return to traditional Christian values. We pray for all first responders and their leaders, as they face increasingly difficult days. Give them wisdom and courage as they face this difficult time in the world. And give us courage and wisdom too, as we prepare. In Jesus name we pray.
