What is the meaning of the Pope praying in a mosque?
Blasphemy.
What is the meaning of the Pope praying in a mosque?
It means it is time to get a new Pope.
Start looking up.
Not the first post-Vatican II pope to do this (Benedict XVI did and lest we forget JPII and Koran smooching). This is routine for those who preach and teach Vatican II’s Non-Catholic Religion of Ecumenism.
Does Catholicism teach that Allah is just another name for the God worshiped by the Judeo-Christians world?
You’re just catching on now?
If true, this makes the ‘last days’ argument that much more convincing.
Maybe it’s time to look up.
Acknowledging Islam is the superior religion.
The pastor at my church who was personally aligned with at least pope John Paul II says Islam is that strange institution that is not a religion
Let’s see again what the catechism says
Whaaaat? Oh man, I knew Vatican II was a mistake.
Not until he tears down the walls atound the Vatican.
Typical cuck behavior.
I’m convinced more than ever that Jesus is coming sooner than expected...if he doesn’t there will not be a soul alive to be ruptured cause we’ll end up killing each other!... there’s just no way we can coexist anymore with these animal bastards, Islam, communism, liberalism Etc...just no way...SOMETHING HAS GOTTA GIVE!! The rubber band has reached its limit before it beaks!!
What is the meaning?
It means real believers will be persecuted soon everywhere, just as is foretold in the scriptures.
I am confident that the One True God knows the hearts of everyone in mosques ... and that He will forgive those that sincerely may wish to pray to Him...and are just “stuck” by virtue of what they’ve been taught...or if they live in a Moslem country which bans Biblical faiths and prayers.
BUT ye shall know the tree by its fruits. Allah is Satan, something that is made exceedingly evident by just reading all the exhortations to violence and teachings against Christian faith in the Koran
Respectfully, Popes should stay out of mosques. At the very least, it sends a very very erroneous signal
Here’s jimmy akins interpretation of church teaching on Islam. He is a well regarded theologian in ‘conservative’ Catholicism
“There should be no doubt that the Church recognizes that followers of Islam have elements of truth. But while it is possible for themas for all mento be saved if they live up to the light God has given them, it cannot be said that Islam is a path of salvation or that Muslims do not need to become Christians.
Jimmy Akin is an internationally known author and speaker. As the senior apologist at Catholic Answers, he has more than twenty years of experiencing defending and explaining the Faith.
Jimmy is a convert to the Faith and has an extensive background in the Bible, theology, the Church...
Sounds like he’s talking out of both sides of his mouth.
#notmypope
Not while Benedict XVI is still alive anyway.
“Lets see again what the catechism says.”

I’d have to defer to Catholics on that, I’m not overly familiar with the Catechism.
