We all know that Global Warming is nothing but simple Eco-profiteering. I wonder what the Pope’s angle is? How to tap into the annual $1-2 trillion pot of money....

We shouldn’t be too hard with the Pope....
Look at what California is doing.

California is taking its fight against global warming to the farm.

The nation’s leading agricultural state is now targeting greenhouse gases produced by dairy cows and other livestock.

Despite strong opposition from farmers, Gov. Jerry Brown signed legislation in September that for the first time regulates heat-trapping gases from livestock operations and landfills.

Cattle and other farm animals are major sources of methane, a greenhouse gas many times more potent than carbon dioxide as a heat-trapping gas. Methane is released when they belch, pass gas and make manure.

Isn’t it obvious ? The fewer energy intensive distractions people have — like transportation, television, internet, video games, and processed food — the more time they will have to spend on more pastoral pursuits like sitting home reading their bible, eating raw foods, and walking from place to place while deep in reflective thought. /s

Interesting items buried in the article:

[The report noted: “The Vatican relied on advisers who are the most extreme elements in the global warming debate. These climate advisors are so far out of the mainstream they even make some of their fellow climate activists cringe…The Vatican advisors can only be described as a brew of anti-capitalist, pro-population control advocates who allow no dissent and are way out of the mainstream of even the global warming establishment.”

University of Pennsylvania Geologist Dr. Robert Giegengack has also noted: “None of the strategies that have been offered by the U.S. government or by the EPA or by anybody else has the remotest chance of altering climate if in fact climate is controlled by carbon dioxide.”]

Interesting that the Pope is taking the advice of “population control” advocates.

Also interesting is that the Paris treaty is widely acknowledged as making no difference to global temperatures EVEN IF it was proven CO2 was causing warming.

Apparently, nobody has considered the most obvious solution to global warming (if it exists) no matter what the cause is. Dam the rivers, use the trapped water to irrigate the farmlands parched from higher temperatures and prevent sea level rise by preventing rainfall from reaching the oceans. Not to mention the cooling effect irrigation has.

The Pope is essentially a socialista , workers of the world "UNTIE" psychopomp like Obama. Yet it is business and the generation of wealth that lifts the papal peasantry out of poverty. The present Pope wants to keep the peasants poor, and exceedingly pious and religious. If the unwashed poor do not have enough food or shelter, they will remain all the more religious and tied to the skirts of Mother Vatican. That's what the pope is about. He wants to destroy the Western economies just like the Chinese want.

What is there to say? "Get thee to a nunnery?"

He is the "Let them eat cake!" Pope. ***************************************************

Here's what the pope DOES know:

http://www.lordmoncktonfoundation.com/

By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley

The RSS global satellite dataset shows no global warming for 18 years 3 months. The actual warming since the United Nations’ climate panel first reported in 1990, compared to the average of all five major global temperature datasets, was half what it had predicted in that year with what it called “substantial confidence.”

Even the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s upper-ocean heat content chart, when converted back to the ocean temperature change from which NOAA calculated it, shows ocean warming over the past decade at a rate equivalent to just 0.5 C⁰/century. Not exactly a climate crisis.

Global sea-ice extent reached a satellite-era maximum late in 2014 – not that most mainstream news media reported that fact. Land area under drought has declined for 30 years. Patterns of flooding, of tropical cyclones and of extra-tropical storminess show little change. Sea level is barely rising: indeed, the GRACE gravitational-recovery satellites, the most precise method of measurement, actually showed sea level falling from 2003-2009.

The new, simple climate model – which a physics undergrad can run on nothing more complex than a pocket calculator – has taken the world of climate science by storm. Of the seven major science papers in the first edition of the relaunched Science Bulletin, the paper has received 3500 downloads from the journal’s website – an unusually high number for a scientific paper.

Comments about the paper are appearing all over the internet. A copy is to be sent to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, where an encyclical on climate change is being prepared on behalf of the Pope.

Lord Monckton, a Knight of Malta, a former Editor of the UK Catholic newspaper The Universe, and an expert reviewer for the UN’s Fifth Assessment Report on the climate in 2013, said: "It is vital that the Pope should not lead the Church into another embarrassing Galileo moment by jumping on to the climate-change bandwagon just as the scientific wheels are falling off. Our paper marks the end of the climate scare."

The Pope is involved in politics because he’s a socialist. The Climate Change Treaty is a massive transfer of wealth from the West to third world nations.

Lord Monckton says:

"It is vital that the Pope should not lead the Church into another embarrassing Galileo moment by jumping on to the climate-change bandwagon just as the scientific wheels are falling off. Our paper marks the end of the climate scare."

It's vital to this marxist pope that we truly believe this global warming cr+p and pour taxpayers's money into the one world order piggy-bank...because the Vatican isn't going to spend a single dime on the poor poor revolting peasants on the planet...

Excellent point.

Yes, these humble peasants of God have accumulated over 8 billion dollars of net worth by not spending money on the poor. Yet they are at the forefront of Globalization. Like good Vatican City nationalist socialists everywhere, they want to spend YOUR money for you, not theirs, and to do that we must give up our fundamental freedoms? These are not communists, they are far from proletarian, they are crony capitalist fascists, garbed in false brocade.

They need there pious arses globally warmed.

In the name of the blather, bun and holy boast , Pax Resistiré. Play Bingo?
