I’ve been wondering about that myself.
Communists stick together.
We hear a lot of things from this Pope
Maybe I’m just out of the loop, but very little of it seems to be about Jesus
Typo: sins “of those” who died in defense of Israel.
Liberation theology marxist grieves for fellow dead murdering dictator marxist.
There’s an accurate headline.
Satan is the only named entity that has already been judged to death.. Satan is 'dead upon arrival', but his power of deception is like none other... and the devil is the premier narcissist... lots of company...
Do deny that Bergoglio has been stacking the college of cardinals with liberal modenists, like himself? Cupich? Farrell? Tobin?
For your further information, it was JP II who made Cupich, Farrell and Tobin bishops.
Bergoglio has now made all them cardinals.
The modernists continue to perpetuate themselves.
NOW there are 228 Cardinals UNDER 80 years of age.
Those 228 will elect the NEXT pope.
I "googled" the question: How many Cardinals were there in the conclave of 2013? There were ONLY 115 Cardinals eligible to vote and THREE did not vote. So, 112 Cardinals voted in Jorge Mario Bergoglio.
He was "created Cardinal" on February 21, 2001 by John Paul II. So maybe the blame lies with Pope John Paul II for making Father Jorge Mario Bergoglio a Cardinal in the FIRST place.
ONLY Cardinals under 80 years of age can vote in the election of a new pope.
Didn't vote:
**3. Pope emeritus, Benedict XVI (20052013)

ALL good reads.
Thank your for your "nasties" oet. It made me go deeper into the election and learn something new...who made him a Cardinal and when he became one. I hadn't know that the "over 80" cardinals could not vote for a new pope.
Hard to believe that it happened 3+ years ago.

“Thought question concerning the character of our Savior: did Jesus not grieve for sinners?”
nn
Yes He did - as he must; being the Ultimate Judge and Redemptor of Humanity.
Our Pope Is Not Our Savior, (although his Vicar) and thus I believe he has spoken out of line. Fully understanding the current political climate, I think he has made an avoidable and unnecessary problem by not carefully considering his words.
How does one ‘grieve’ for a tyrannical despot who during his reign of terror had imprisoned/executed many thousands of the people of his Country?
The Pope should have simply said, “ I will pray for the repose of his Eternal Soul.” I think by saying he grieved; that he gave tacit approval to the Communist Dictator who reigned over his people.”
I don’t grieve, but I do admit to praying for the repose of Castro’s Eternal Soul.
Opinions?
However I think the Pope erred in not voicing any recognition of the kind of tyrant Castro was. It would have been etter if he had said, "Invoking Christ's mercy, we can hope Fidel Castro was given the grace to repent of his sins, may he rest in peace." or at least "We can hope that now all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience can be freed, and that Cuba will open a new era of respect of rhuman rights."
Yep. Castro’s eternal destination is decided now. It’s too late for him to make a choice.
You can pray for the dead all one wants but at death their eternity is decided.
Actually any who don’t believe have already been judged as per John 3:18.
Are you claiming Bergoglio did not have a vote in own election?
Why all the cutting and pasting and irritating fonts?
Yes, I must certainly agree: at death their eternity is decided. No do-overs.
But the Holy Souls in Purgatory are all saved, and have known this from the moment of their death, when they experienced the irrevocable Judgment of Christ.
Nothing can change His verdict.
It is a Perfect Judgement, and all of the judged know that it could be no other.
Exactly.
You’re posting a bunch of junk statistics. Answer the questions: Did Bergoglio have a vote in his own election to the papacy?
And can you verify that he won by more than one vote?
Opinions?
Like you, I do not grieve but I have prayed for Castro's soul.
However, I do grieve that the Church is now being wounded by a terrible pope. I pray for his soul too, and for his conversion or a happy death.
