Indeed, we have so much. Made the deviled eggs, putting the apple pie in shortly. ... I bet your house smells delicious this holiday. Stay safe and warm. Feed that old man well.
Thank you for the enticing sights and fragrances coming through the computer. I just cut up the apples and mixed them with the sugar and spices, but I decided to stick the bowl for the pie-dough-making and the can of crisco into the fridge to cool them, because my pastry turns out best with cold ingredients. As soon as they’re chilled, I’ll cnstruct it properly(criss-cross upper crust!) and my reputation as a “crusty” person will secure for anther year.

Roger that bro. I know it's Wednesday evening where you are. It's already 10:10 AM, Thanksgiving day here. We are waiting till Dec 3rd for our Thanksgiving dinner, so we can celebrate with my high school classmate, who is coming in from Arizona.
We will have turkey, but there is only one store that sells turkey, so hopefully they will have it. With that, we will have langganisa, tocino, afritada, chop suey, potato salad, deviled eggs and blueberry pie. They have no cranberry sauce here. My wife had no idea what deviled eggs were, and had no idea what American Thanksgiving was, but they seem to like it now. And don't let any of those genetic engineers get you down. 😆😄
