Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father Who Art in Heaven,
Hallowed Be Your Name!
You Alone are Worthy of Praise and Worship,
For You Are Glorious in Majesty!
You Alone Are The One True God.
Perfect in All Your Ways
We Pray That You Will keep us From Temptation.
And Let us look to you with loving eyes,
Like a Bride adorned for her Bridegroom.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

I like the NIV Translation for its clarity and ease of reading, but for shear Poetry and Majesty of Language, The King James Version is my Favorite for Psalms, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. The opening line of Chapter 11 in the KJV is:

Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

While the NIV may be more accurate and commends diligence and commerce, The KJV implies a kind of joyous giving, which Jesus recommends in the giving of charity when He said:

"But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing" (Matthew 6 NASB)

Paul continues in this vein in 2 Corinthians with:

6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

The Greek words that Paul uses in this passage suggest almost a "hilarity" when giving, joyfully sharing what one has with others. It is almost as "hilarious" as throwing bread into the ocean!

As we look at the two candidates for president, we have many stories about their "giving". One has a plethora of apocryphal stories about paying for a sick child's airfare, Helping Veterans, Paying off someone's mortgage, and other strange, inexplicable, "hilarious" episodes. The other ran a multi-million dollar "charity" which gave a tiny percentage of its proceeds to the poor, while making a big show of it, and taking credit for giving which did not exist. The People of Haiti were on the (((NON receiving))) end of this alleged "giving", and are still furious about it!

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.
