This would be a very stupid thing for Marine Le Pen to do. Anything that hides the face and conceals the identity (burqa, balaclava, clown mask, ski mask, whatever) should be banned for public security reasons alone.

BUT... purely symbolic clothing (kippah, cassock, head scarf, Amish clothing, nuns' habit, etc) is a pure matter of personal self-expression. "My clothing makes a statement!" --- that's what all the fashion designers say.

Religious and non-religious Jews have been part of France longer than the Franks. Kippot like habits and crosses are part of Frances history and heritage. Muslims colonizing France are another matter. Orthodox Jews in France don't demand other Jews dress a certain way and don't attack non-Jews for failing to do so. The same is not true for Muslims. Le Pen's position is leftist moral relativism and nihilist garbage. A Christian France can save itself from Islam. A Jacobin France is a corpse.
