Now you've gone on to the dubious project of proving or disproving by omission.

Fact is, you can't find any verse in the Bible that says Mary died at all! What do you want to make of that?

And no Scripture "refutes" the idea that Mary was, say, a Libertarian, an Extraterrestrial, a paranoid schizophrenic, a Celtic accordion player, or a hologram.



This is all nonsense.



Significant omission can sometimes be part of a hypothesis relying on circumstantial evidence, which is actually valid as long as you recognize the exact limits of its place in the argument.

It needs to be handled more carefully.

Ah, now I get it -— since no Scripture refutes the idea that Mary could be God, then Catholics should be able to worship Mary! And they do!

It all makes sense now!
