It’s to use in a Satanic mass. Wasn’t there one being planned?

The Lord has quite a repertoire. He can change it back if he wants to. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

This church is in my neighborhood. I think of it as the striped church.

In that case, please accept my apology.

It’s all good. Reading through the thread, I understand how serious this is to you all.

Thank you, and I’m doing well, other than a bit of seasonal sneezing and dripping. Hope you’re well, too!

Jesus allowed Himself to be betrayed by Judas, arrested, scourged at the pillar, wounded by a crown of thorns, to be forced to carry His cross through the streets of Jerusalem on the Via Dolorosa in a badly weakened physical condition, stripped by Roman soldiers, nailed to the Cross, crucified, and pierced by a spear. If He allowed Himself to be desecrated in all those ways (for your salvation and mine and everyone else's who accepts that Divine sacrifice) by evil doers or mischief makers because He does not interfere with exercises of free will by evil doers and mischief makers, what makes you think that He will interfere with the desecration of His Body and Blood in the Holy Eucharist?

As to your prior question, at the Last Supper, Jesus Christ took bread and wine, said the words of consecration: This is My Body. This is My Blood. He then told us to: Do this in memory of Me. We don't "let" the miscreants "think" they have captured Jesus and can do all manner of evil to Him. That is the necessary implication of Jesus Christ's institution of the Sacrament of the Altar. Take up your disagreements with Him.

Once consecrated, the Holy Eucharist becomes the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. As God, Jesus Christ is omnipotent but that does not mean that He MUST exercise His power as you expect or demand or desire. He could, no doubt, come to earth, don the uniform of my beloved New York Yankees and be the perfect pitcher and perfect hitter and perfect fielder and perfect runner but He does not. Not only that but, unlike Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Reggie Jackson, Mariano Rivera and now Gary Sanchez, He would not have to submit to the ravages of age.

Your question is really threefold. He is never powerless to do anything that is not a contradiction in terms. Some of the usual ritual wisecracks of the non-believers (I certainly recognize you as a believer if not sharing each nuance of Catholic theology) include: "Can God make a boulder too heavy for God to push uphill?" The boulder too heavy, etc., is the fallacy in the question that renders the question meaningless. The most brilliant and powerful mere human being who ever lived cannot successfully overcome God. The creature is not greater than the Creator. If God sees fit not to interfere with a man's determination to sin, that does not mean that the man has triumphed over God.

May God bless you and yours!

Imagine tho, if God intended this to happen. That when this robber eats all the consecrated Eucharists, he becomes so filled with the Holy Spirit that he casts off his robbing ways, repents, turns himself in, and becomes a Priest. :)

The tabernacle is where we keep our greatest Treasure but many of the underclass utterly fail to understand that the Treasure cannot be fenced or converted to drug money. By comparison with the Treasure, gold and money are not much at all.
