The RCC has the final interpretation of all scripture regardless of the actual words that are written and don't you forget it.../ S You are correct sir, or at least that's what I was taught when I was a Catholic. 😀 Since I am NOW, an Ephesians 2:8-9 kind of guy, I don't accept it anymore, but I did at one time. ✌️️
Eph: 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.
