Wasn't Taylor a Catholic?
I "Googled" Elizabeth Taylor's religion. Below is what I got. It said that SHE had SEVEN husbands. No Catholic does that.
Elizabeth Taylor: Taylor was born into a Christian Scientist family. Her godfather, English statesman Victor Cazalet, was a Christian Science preacher but it doesnt seem to be something she spoke about very much.
Her first husband (of seven), Nicky Hilton, was a devout Catholic and tried to convert her to his faithbut it didnt work outthe marriage or the conversion.
The big news regarding Taylors religion came when she announced she had converted to Judaism. The announcement came after the death of her third husband, Michael Todd (a Jew), and before her marriage to her fourth husband, Eddie Fisher (also a Jew). However, Taylor insisted that it had nothing to do with the religion of her respective husbands. She said of her conversion:
"It had absolutely nothing to do with my past marriage to Mike [Todd] or my upcoming marriage to Eddie Fisher, both of whom were Jewish. It was something I had wanted to do for a long time."
Taylor remained a Jew for the rest of her life, though she wasnt the type to go to synagogue regularly. She did speak of her adherence to regular prayer: I pray to God all the time. We have a conversational relationship and those conversations calm my fears. And she supported numerous Jewish and pro-Israel charities throughout her life from buying large amounts of Israeli bonds to lobbying for countries like Russia to allow their Jewish populations to emigrate to Israel to raising money for the Jewish National Fund.
So, Liz was a Christian science by upbringing and a Jew by choice. I guess that means that she was not Catholic.
Catholics can be married for decades, have 7, 8 children and if, lets say the husband, wants a different wife, he can get the marriage annulled.
And marry his new flame.
Of course he will have to pay.
Unless, of course, he is powerful connected Catholic like Edward Kennedy.
Then strings can be pulled.
What a disgrace for a church to take part in such a degrading thing to a faithful wife and a brood of children.
You may be a Christian, but that scenario is NOT Biblical or Christian in any way shape or form.
It's an abomination.
Well good you researched and cleared Elizabeth Taylor of being associated with Catholicism.
The Catholic church has no Biblical right to declare a long child producing marriage to have never existed.
Doesn't that make bastards of the children?
