I can't remember who said it, but the quote "Sport can be made of any subject, if one's chief object in life is to make a joke" applies very well to far too many people.

One of the worst things about society currently is that so many people, young people especially lack any sense of the sacred. Nothing is off-limits to cynicism and caustic jokery.

Just wonder what those young people would say if you made jokes about liberals or blacks, poke fun at the university they go to. (this is towards them, not you :) )
