Tim Kaine apparently is not a practicing Catholic. While he may regularly attend Mass (I don’t know) he is not a practicing Catholic. I am not casting stones, I am the last to do so. A Catholic, a Christian, would not condone homosexual acts. Tim Kaine needs to get right with Jesus.

Kaine has all the qualities of the AntiChrist from everything I’ve read thus far.

The Church of Vatican II might. The Catholic Church never will.

The Vatican II church? I’d say anything is possible. It’s already changed teaching on ecumenism and religious liberty and it’s on its way to changing teaching on communion for adulterers....just to name a few things.

When God says “I do not change” there is no proviso for unless it pleases sinners!

God isn't a religion. Christian religions may be based on Biblical events but all Christian religions, being man-made, have tenets that do not conform to the Bible. Some have thousands and thousands of pages of "rationale" about why they believe in some of the things they believe in.

Tim Kaine is a scandal and disgrace to Catholic teaching and to the body of Christ in general.

Kaine is a phony Catholic.

He is one of those trying to destroy a tradition of morality and replace it with one of evil.

“How to chase votes away, 101”

I don't think any Catholics are going to be turned off by this who are not already Trump voters.

There is very very substantial support among Catholic voters (OK, OK, "Catholic" voters if you prefer) for politicians who support abortion, euthanasia, and homosexuality, as there is among Catholic clergy and religious.

Then why do homosexuals keep saying he didn’t? Do they assume they made it up?

There are issues which divide congregation from congregation that do not indicate that “Elvis has left the building”, so to speak.

But when something is so clearly expressed in Scripture as in the case here that is not the case.

It is a matter of identity.

“In Christ” is to ultimately be the fundamental fact that pushes other things aside in favor of it: the essential identity of anyone who is saved.

But “homosexual” has, at least in these times for many, become the central focus of identity that demands that all else be pushed aside to accommodate it. It is for many a spiritual stronghold in Satan’s service.

One cannot identify themselves as homosexual as basis for their identity and be a Christian.

A Christian, OTOH, though they may be tempted with sin should not identify with it as if that sin defined who they actually are (some who are presently confused will not remain that way: if present at all the Holy Spirit WILL push out rivals for His claim on a person, He will not be pushed out by them).

Indeed, most sins are things people do, in their estimation, and not who they think they are.

This is a matter of serving two masters. Christ or sex ... not Christ and sex.

There is certainly a problem with Christians not APPLYING sound doctrine, and tolerating all sorts of evil that they should not (like divorce or sex outside of marriage) but that is not necessarily the same as not having or abandoning sound doctrine. Tares are found among the wheat just as Christ said. It’s just for some things the more “wheat-y” the wheat is the less happy some tares will be.

That so many homosexuals are demanding sound doctrine change because of what they claim they are, their identity, rather than that repent of their sin is simply evidence that they are not saved.

As for their supporters who are not personally caught up in that sin: whom do they serve and whom do they fear?

Going along to get along is not the way to live a life. Especially a life in Christ.

I’ve never had GAYDAR ... even my UPSIDETHEHEAD low budget version seems to occasionally fail.

I guess it’s for the best I was never on a ship with broken down navigational gear depending on me to reach port in San Francisco.

Being the most annoying legalists on the planet, their idea is if Jesus did not mention it, it’s not important because He is the supreme authority. What they miss is that the apostle’s teaching IS Jesus’ teaching and utterly authoritative.

“My church also teaches me about a Creator in the first chapter of Genesis who surveys the entire world including mankind and said, ‘It is very good. It is very good,’” Kaine said.

Well, in the third chapter, it all goes sideways with Adam's sin. The whole of creation was corrupted.
