"Several years ago a German language scholar,Ludwig Schneider, discovered an amazing prophecy dating back to 1217 AD by a highly respected rabbi by the name of Judah Ben Samuel.

I was reported that he was given a prophecy about the exact year of Israel's rebirth.

Since Ben Samuel wrote before the printing press, few copies of his writings have survived, but Schneider does have his copy of prophecies about the nation of Israel and the Messianic era; and has translated highlights of it into English, as published in ISRAEL TODAY.

First, as a Christian I believe Matthew 25:13"watch therefore, for you know neither the day or the hour the Son of Man comes."- including Jesus'admonition to "Watch".

So,here's watching. This man Judah Ben Samuel never missed; which is by definition a true Prophet. One mistake and it was the rock-pile, according to Jewish Law.Ben Samuel died of advanced age.

He accurately foretold the Mameluke Turkic Muslim occupation of the Middle East, including The Holy Land for 300 years ceasing in 1517, when conquered by the Ottoman Turkish(Muslim) Empire. Ben Samuel then wrote the Ottomans would rule Jerusalem and the Holy land for 500 years. Yes, that's right the Ottomans were defeated by British General George Allenby in 1917, on Hanukka no less.

Ben Samuel then wrote there would be a period afterward that no nation had complete control over Jerusalem until 1967. The League of Nations made it their Protectorate enforced by the British Army, an effective No Man's Land. Even after Israel's independence in 1948, and an established Jewish state; Jerusalem remained divided until the whole city fell under Jewish control in the Six Day War in 1967. Not only were these times and circumstances prophesied by Ben Samuel; he established 1967 as the beginning of the Messianic Era lasting 50 years and ending before the last of 2017.

The last Messianic Year allowing for differences in the Jewish Calendar and our modern calendar, Begins between the Feast of Trumpets Oct. 3, 2016, and Oct. 12, 2016 the Day of atonement. This makes Messiah's coming(Jesus' return) the later part of 2017.

The is straight, as far as I can see. Only God knows for sure, I would not bet against this man. Let me know what you think.

I can’t remember the story exactly but General Allenby used his Bible to figure a way into Jerusalem by stealth.

Interesting! And this is definitely a prophesy that we can test!

Did Judah Ben Samuel predict when the true Messiah will come?

“I can’t remember the story exactly but General Allenby used his Bible to figure a way into Jerusalem by stealth.”

It was actually the battle at Michmash. Great story! WWI is full of interesting history if you place the dates on the Hebrew calendar. When he entered Jerusalem to liberate it the day was the first day of Hanukkah during a jubilee year.

Spach, John Thom, “Allenby And The Last Crusade,” MILITARY HISTORY,
March, 1996, (741 Miller Dr. SE, Suite D-2, Suite 300, Leesburg, VA
22075.

On February 13, 1918, the 60th Division took over the Deir Ibu
Obed-Ras es Suffa-Hezmeh Line from the 53rd Division, and on the next
day, operational orders were issued for an attack on Jericho with the
object of driving the enemy across the Jordan River. Before the main
attack could take place, it was necessary to straighten out the Brit-
ish line by capturing a small village in the hands of the Turks and
directly in front of the 180th Brigade. The village was named Mukhmas,
or Michmash.

A frontal assault was decided upon. Supported by artillery and
machine guns. The brigade was to move down into the valley separating
the two lines, and at dawn it would storm up the other side, in the
face of the enemy fire. The plan would entail some casualties, but
those were deemed unavoidable. All orders were issued, then the troops
got what rest they could.

In his bivouac, by the light of a candle, Major Gilbert read his
Bible. When the raid was first discussed, the name Michmash had sounded vaguely familiar, although he could not quite place it. Just as he
was about to put out his candle, he thought he would try one more time
to find the name. At last he found what he was searching for in I
Samuel, Chapter 13 and 14: “And Saul and Jonathan, his son, and the
people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah: but the Philis-
tines encamped in Michmash.

“Now it came to pass upon a day that Jonathan, the son of Saul,
said unto the young man that bare his armor, ‘Come and let us go over
to the Philistines’ garrison, that is on the other side,’ but he told
not his father....And the people knew not that Jonathan was gone.

“And between the passages, by which Jonathan sought to go over to
the Philistine garrison, there was a sharp rock on the one side, and a
sharp rock on the other side: the name of one was Bozez, and the name
of the other Seneh. The forefront of one was situated northward over
against Michmash, and the other southward over against Gibeah. And
Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour...’It may be that
the Lord will work for us; for there is no restraint to the Lord to
save by many or by few.’”

The major read on how Jonathan went through the pass of Michmash,
between Bozez and Seneh, and climbed the hill with his armor-bearer
following behind, until they came to a place high up, about “a half
acre of land, which a yoke of oxen might plow,” and the Philistines
who were sleeping awoke, thought they were surrounded by the armies of
Saul, and the “multitudes melted away” as they fled in disorder. Saul
then attacked with his whole force of 600 men. It was a great victory
for him, and “so the Lord saved Israel that day and the battle passed
over into Bethaven.”

“This pass, these rocky headlands and flat piece of ground are
probably still there,” Gilbert told himself. “Very little has changed
in Palestine throughout the centuries.” He woke General Watson and in-
formed him of what he had found in the Bible. Together they read the
story over again. Then Watson sent out scouts, who came back and
reported finding the pass, thinly guarded by the Turks, with rock
crags on either side—obviously Bozez and Seneh. Up in Michmash, the
moonlight shone on a flat piece of ground just big enough for a team
to plough.

Immediately, Watson decided to change the plan of attack. Instead
of the whole brigade, one infantry company advanced in the dead of
night along the pass of Michmash. The few Turks they met were quickly
and silently dealt with. They passed between Bozez and Seneh, climbed
the hillside and, just before dawn, found themselves on the flat piece
of ground. When the Turkish soldiers awoke, they thought they were
surrounded by several British armies and fled in disorder.

Every enemy soldier who had slept that night in Michmash was
either killed or captured. After thousands of years, the tactics of
Jonathan and Saul had again met with success.

Thanks that is even better than I remembered.

Sort of reminds me of Schlieman finding Troy by reading his copy of “The Iliad”.

True. Or Eilat Mazar finding what is believed to be the palace of King David from reading the Bible. It took her years to find someone willing to finance the project since her intel was from the Good Book!

She was spot on.

The actual prophecy was for that the Ottomans would rule Jerusalem for 8 Jubilees. A Jubilee is 50 years, hence 400 years is the correct number in the prophecy (and in actual history).

The 500 year figure is a simple typo by windhover, and doesn’t degrade the truth of the prophecy.

I have been reading “The Great Christ Comet” by Colin R. Nicholl. (I know Colin’s wife’s family quite well.)

Colin uses astronomy to establish the identity of the Star of Bethlehem. He contends that the wise men from the east saw a sight similar to that depicted in your chart, but with a comet being “born” of the virgin. Colin contends that Rev 12 reiterates that event. He even purports to identify the 12 stars and the “dragon” mentioned in the same passage.

I hesitate to provide any more detail since that would spoil it for those who choose to read the book! :) I would certainly recommend it.

Let me know what you think.

I think there are a LOT of signs pointing to this being the "end of the age", as prophesied. This being just one more link in the chain of evidence.
