Your differences are not with your bishop but with God.
NO reforms are possible because you can not reform the revealed truth of God.
He also seems to misinformed about his vocation. He is quoted in news articles saying that he has been fired.
Since my firing from Seton Hall and coming out last year I felt an obligation to use this as an opportunity to more directly let people know of Gods love for all of us and that gay Catholics should stay in the church and work for more wider acceptance. I do not feel I ever preached or taught anything contrary to the Gospel (and) this is true from my entire 27 years of ordination [as a priest].
He has not been fired nor can he be fired. He has been removed from an assignment. He has sworn an oaths of obedience to God, Gods word and the Church among others. He has been anointed a priest of Gods Church. He can not be fired because he does not have a job.
He is being disciplined to show him the error of his ways. He is persistent in teaching a false doctrine.
He must be removed from a position where the faithful maybe influenced by this false doctrine until he repents and accepts the truth of the Church.
Priests are not hired by parishes, but they are hired by institutions like hospitals, universities, etc. A parish cannot fire a priest, but a hospital or university certainly can.
You are on Spot... To bad more Priests, Bishops and the Pope were on Spot...
God Bless
