So to defend the fairy story Catholic Mass you would even contradict JESUS! You are on very very shaky ground.

The first Christians knew that it was a sacrifice and proclaimed this in their writings.

No they didn't.

Because this is the promise Jesus Christ made to Saint Peter, the first Pope!

Oh?

And just WHERE is this PROMISE written down?

(If you're looking for either an agrument or a unitary contest I' have no interest. Do you understand)

No; I do not understand.

How can there be a contest with only ONE in it?

So, just so I understand — you only admonish those with opinions that disagree with yours?

Oh, NO!

I get on people's cases all the TIME for agreeing with me!

Please read John 6:53 et. seq. Then read about Transubstantiation. It is a hard saying.

You didn't remotely answer the question -- will you now call out a poster who accused me of much worse than what you called me out on?

Or -- are you just wanting to push an anti-Catholic position? I eagerly await your response...

I have no need, nor do I label anyone stupid, as their words label themselves.

Indeed they do!

The truth found in the Catholic Church is really sumpthin though.

Is the following; which is FOUND in the Catholic Church; true???

"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours."

--Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)

No, it is not a hard saying, it is a frairytale, a farce, a lie that your priest can feed the body, blood, SOUL and DIVINITY to you as a wheat wafer changed without appearing changed.

Read the entire BIBLE for yourself! JESUS is no longer in a blood filled body. HE IS IN HEAVEN and flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom Of God; the corruptible must put on incorruption; Paul conferred not with flesh and blood when He went down into wilderness and was instructed by JESUS.

Who?

Am I supposed to be following EVERYTHING that is going on in this thread?

Shame! How dare you say the Scripture I referred you to is a fairy tale.

Are you a Christian?

Nope - not at all. But you had no problem castigating me over a post that wasn't directed at *you*...

Yes. But one must realize that “being in the Church” includes many people that are not formally Catholics, but who believe in sincere conscience only part of the whole teachings of the RCC. That includes many Protestants. But the FULLNESS OF THE TRUTH. is found only in the RCC.
