That is the key issue, IMHO - a decentralized church would no longer be a ‘Catholic’ church by definition; rather it would be different denominations, and no longer united under the Bishop of Rome.

I’m certain he ‘got an earful’ as you say, but this Pope is an ideologue; and I fear he will ignore their counsel. Remember, the Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways!

Not really. Studies show that men and women are happiest when families are very solid. Happy families leads to more kids.

I know. It is so hard to be stuck in the West, without earthly shepherds in the mold of the Polish faithful. A soul could starve to death on the pablum set before us and in view of the unchecked vandalism to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. I live appalled by what I see and experience.
