Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" 43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."

As a Catholic I was taught there are three types of Baptism. 1. by water,2.Blood (martyrdom),and 3. desire. Which would cover the thief on the cross.

There are many Scripture verses which refer to baptism by water. There is also such a thing as baptism by the Holy Spirit, which is refereed to twice in Acts: first, in Acts 1:4-5 and second in Acts 11:16.

While they may be something referred to in Catholic tradition, do you have a Scriptural basis for and reference to anything termed, "baptism by blood," or "baptism by desire?"

That's interesting because we keep being told on the RF by FRoman Catholics that there is only one baptism.

I wish y'all would agree on whatever it is you decide.

There is nothing anywhere that suggests the thief on the cross desired baptism, or even knew about it...It is falsely assumed that since the thief ended up with Jesus that he 'must have' desired baptism to fit the narrative that baptism is required...
