Deliberate and intentional choice by a desperate Clinton to drag in the progressive catholics, USCCB included.

Catholic ping!

Cafeteria Catholic, like Biden and Pelosi.
Says he is personally against abortion but makes sure that all abortions that can happen, do happen.

I want to see their floor fight again, over the inclusion of God in their platform.

He is representative of many in this respect. There is a war being fought in every Catholic parish over what it means to truly follow Jesus. Follow the commandments and love one another. It is simple, but extremely difficult in practice.

Kain loves dead babies as much as Hillary does.

We know why they never show a panned picture of Hillary's rallies...those folks behind her are probably the only ones there (other than the fawning media).

haha i thought this was a great pick...for Trump. The dem ticket is truly the no excitement status quo ticket. Sure she picked a “catholic” to possibly pick up more religious voters but appeals nothing to her base which is already disenchanted by the Bernie sham.

So she’s looking for Catholics to vote for her because of Kaine? Pence is also a Catholic, an “Evangelical Catholic,” and probably more in tune with the RCC.

BUT to the extent that Catholics are not well catechized, and they are not, that is the Church’s fault. They all fell down on the job post-Vatican II. With Pope Francis, it can only get worse.

Well, considering many Catholics I know have said the exact same thing, they won’t have any trouble voting for them.

What Does Bernie Sanders Think Of Tim Kaine? He May Not Support Him

Charles Chamberlain, the executive director of Democracy for America released a statement on Thursday that suggested Kaine would not be a good pick, considering “his vote for fast track authority for the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership and this newly uncovered push for bank deregulation.”

Given Sanders’ calls to break up the banks and reform Wall Street, Kaine doesn’t seem like a likely contender for Sanders’ support, either.

Clinton already has work to do to gain support from Sanders supporters, and it doesn’t seem like Kaine would be the way to go, considering his support for the TPP and for deregulating banks. Though Kaine’s base in Virginia will certainly help the presumptive Democratic nominee in the swing state, a more progressive VP pick might have done well to bridge the gap between moderate Democrats and progressives.

A Bloomberg Politics poll from last month showed that nearly half of Americans who voted in support of Sanders’ campaign — to rebuild the middle class, change the campaign financing system, break up financial institutions on Wall Street, and build a more socialized health care and education system — will not support Clinton. It would seem that choosing a VP pick to secure that vote would be especially important to her campaign’s success.

**Mr. Kaine has a 100% rating and endorsement from rabid pro-abortion groups NARAL and Planned Parenthood, and 100% from Human Rights Campaign [LGBT advocacy] for his “position on marriage” — namely, his full support of gay “marriage”, i.e., his complete rejection of natural law and the teaching of his professed Catholic faith.**

Anyone who votes for Kaine cannot be a Catholic because they are supporting abortion, same sex marriage and transgender, lesbian and homosexual behaviors.

You can’t be Catholic and pro-abortion-period! All you can be is a CINO.

And here is a good column by Thomas Lifton on Kaine and his ‘Catholicism’

http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/07/dont_believe_msm_trying_to_sell_kaine_as_a_centrist.html

Which he closes with the following sentence: “When the Post touts your deep Catholic roots as positive, it probably means you’re a liberal opposed to Catholic orthodoxy.”
