Prayer That Changed America: The Apollo Missions

Heavenly Father,

As we pass another anniversary of Apollo 11, may we remember how, as a nation, we had offered our prayers to You, Lord. Prayers for safety. Prayers for success in the mission. Prayers that glorified You. And truly the mission attested to Your faithfulness in creation as the Author of the laws governing Your universe.

We confess that have forgotten You. We have so easily lived our lives like You don’t exit. Forgive us our unbelief. Give us a heart of repentance to turn to You with our whole heart.

Fill us with Your Spirit. Grant us Your Wisdom in our daily decisions. Empower us to do Your will during the time You have allotted us on this earth.

Protect all those who put themselves in harm’s way to serve others, home and abroad, on all fronts. Frustrate all plans of the evil one. Spark revival in our hearts and healing in our land. Through Your grace, may America will be great again.
