Magic thinkers truly believe that some “supernatural forces” made Mary into a sinless woman worthy of adoration/veneration. Same with all the saints.

And worth repeating. Mary knew she was a sinner and in need of salvation - I’ve posted those verses above.
John likewise said this in John 3:27-30
27 To this John replied, “A person can receive only what is given them from heaven. 28 You yourselves can testify that I said, ‘I am not the Messiah but am sent ahead of him.’ 29 The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. 30 He must become greater; I must become less.”
The mental gyrations are well illustrated in the posts of one catholic trying to harass Greybeard in this very thread (posts 74, 76, 78, and 80). Jesus spoke of these who will try to argue with GOD, to whom HE will say ‘Depart from Me, I never knew you.’
I agree - and very sad but true.
