EWTN Panel: Pope’s Comments on Marriage “Unacceptable”, “Reckless”
One Peter Five ^ | June 29, 2016 | Steve Skojec

Posted on 06/29/2016 7:38:37 PM PDT by ebb tide

On the June 23rd episode of The World Over With Raymond Arroyo, we witnessed one of the best (if not the best) discussions of papal impropriety in mainstream Catholic news. Again and again, Arroyo shows us that he gets it. And his guests (even with Robert Royal’s tendency to softpedal things) are right there with him.

If the video doesn’t take you there directly, go to 27:46. Even if you’re not a regular viewer of the show (or not a fan) this is definitely worth your time:

Every other word out of this phony pope’s mouth is unacceptable and reckless.

Soros infests Vatican

The bible, the trinity will never fall to a sinner man.

The pope and his supporters have horns.

Our Heavenly Father will never leave us without a real Pope. The current situation was prefigured when the Apostles chose Matthias to replace Judas Iscariot, and Jesus chose Saul of Tarsus to become Saint Paul. Today, He has given us Monsignor Charles Pope! Salvation posts his sermons each day, but you can catch up at: http://blog.adw.org/author/cpope/

Revelation 2
7 “’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To the victor I will give the right to eat from the tree of life that is in the garden of God.”’
- - - - -
11 “’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
The victor shall not be harmed by the second death.”’

17 “’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
To the victor I shall give some of the hidden manna; I shall also give a white amulet upon which
is inscribed a new name, which no one knows except the one who receives it.”’
- - - - -
24 But I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not uphold this teaching and
know nothing of the so-called deep secrets of Satan: on you I will place no further burden,
25 except that you must hold fast to what you have until I come.
26 “’”To the victor, who keeps to my ways until the end, I will give authority over the nations.
27 He will rule them with an iron rod. Like clay vessels will they be smashed,
28 just as I received authority from my Father. And to him I will give the morning star.
29 “’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’
- - - - -
Revelation 3
4 However, you have a few people in Sardis who have not soiled their garments;
they will walk with me dressed in white, because they are worthy.
5 “’”The victor will thus be dressed in white, and I will never erase his name
from the book of life but will acknowledge his name in the presence of my
Father and of his angels.
6 “’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’
- - - - -
20 “’”Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and
opens the door, [then] I will enter his house and dine with him, and he with me.
21 I will give the victor the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself
first won the victory and sit with my Father on his throne.

22 “’”Whoever has ears ought to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’”
- - - - -

* [2:7] Victor: referring to any Christian individual who holds fast to the faith
and does God’s will in the face of persecution. The tree of life that is in the
garden of God: this is a reference to the tree in the primeval paradise (Gn 2:9);
cf. Rev 22:2, 14, 19. The decree excluding humanity from the tree of life has
been revoked by Christ.

I’m not a catholic so I have no interest in that post, sorry.

Christ is my savior... I need no pope.

Well you might take a look at Charles Pope’s sermons. He is more Biblical than Catholic.

He seems to think he is making the Church relevant today, while he is instead showing how detached he is from the moral decay that has infected the world over the past 50+ years.

Once again, it's the laity which is leading the resistance.

The hierarchy has been completely silent and appears paralyzed. Publicly rebuking a Pope would demand a disposition somewhat akin to that required for martyrdom and sadly, most cardinals are not there yet. There's probably also the concern that this might further polarize the Church and initiate events which could lead to open schism. So it's left to the blogosphere and commentators in Catholic media to call out this charlatan.

He seems to think he is making the Church relevant today,...

He did not fall off a turnip truck. He knows what he is doing in confounding the authority of God’s word. He’s a liberal using his position to undermine Christianity.

Thank you for throwing a fastball down the middle to us Catholics. And I admire your home page. Excellent stuff.

Um, you need a pope, just as the animals needed Noah in Genesis 7:9. Thankfully, there has always been a pope. Has it been smooth? Nope. Has it been fun? Yup.

Um, you need a pope

Sorry man, the only 'pope' I need sits at the right hand of God.

It amazes me how most catholics have no idea about the history of their religion and are basically letting the catholic church practice their religion for them by proxy. That's not faith... It's something completely different.

****He knows what he is doing in confounding the authority of God’s word. He’s a liberal using his position to undermine Christianity.****

He is not some liberal that just sneaked into the position of the Pope by subterfuge and craftiness. He is there and still speaking with support from the hierarchy.

This is truly the “Great falling away”. Allowed by the Father and justifiably so.

The Dali Lama came out the other day with a very wise comment about immigration. Uncontrolled immigration into Western Europe by cultures that do not understand western values and lifestyles is not working and will not work, according to him. He doesn’t even think this is “compassionate.” He is now my new guru. Still Catholic, but no longer a FRANCIS enthusiast. Many of my friends agree altho there are many more whose
earlier enthusiasm - based on a dislike of Benedict the 16th - compels them to keep their mouths shut. Others who were comsidering going into the Catholic Church are no longer talking this way.

Thanks very much for relating the wise observations of the Dali Lama. He’s absolutely right.

As for those Francis enthusiasts, I’ll never understand them or the enthusiasm for him. Ditto for the dislike of Pope Benedict XVI, who remains my favorite Pope. May he live a happy, healthy 120 years.

I hope and pray Pope Benedict is keeping notes or even writing a book about his observations of Francis the talking mule.

More biblical than Catholic? Now who’s trying to placate?
Monsignor Pope is a Catholic priest. He is Catholic. Catholicism is biblically based. People can fight that or just get over it. But that is the truth
