Vatican Selling out Egyptian Christians to Buy Good Relations with Islam, Claim Copts

Pope Francis, who is “building bridges to build peace” around the world, has naturally reached out to embrace Sunni Muslims. Last month, for the first time after years of Vatican silence, Pope Francis summoned to his private library in Rome grand imam Ahmed El-Tayeb of Cairo’s Al-Ahzar Mosque Institute. Absent a press release before this event, the Pope was quoted as saying, “this meeting is the message” – leading all to dwell on the meaning and purpose of their 25 minutes together. Christians, especially Egyptian Coptic Christians, have observed the Catholic pope give the “sign of peace” to the grand imam who has yet been unwilling to denounce ISIS. Unity existed between the two religious branches previous to former Pope Benedict XVI condemning Islam’s inclination to violence. This message of reconciliation comes during the Al-Sisi government which has stood opposed to the favored and protected status of an organization entwined with Al-Ahzar -- the Muslim Brotherhood – and against the ascendency of this terror network and others beginning before his presidential campaign.

Two days before their historic meeting, headlines around the world reported the violent and humiliating act committed by a Muslim mob in Upper Egypt against a Christian woman in a Christian-majority village. Homes where razed and a grandmother was stripped naked, dragged from her house and beaten in the street. Egypt’s courts are not officially Sharia but street justice involving private matters is strictly Islamic doctrine (coercion of non-Muslims), and violence has no real consequences in the courts. No words came from either of the leaders in the “Jubilee of Mercy” meeting (its official title) to address this incident, which by the nature of this attack holds deeper, more serious implications in Egyptian culture. An elderly woman in Egypt is considered sacrosanct, and practically speaking, this means across..........

This creature is the enemy of the Catholic Church.
A true Trojan Horse.

The guy is a plant by someone or some group.

Why the other Pope stepped down and this dangerous plant was quietly
Rammed really brings up all sorts of conspiracy angles.

A very very dangerous man not a Pope in any universe.

my neighbor says he’s an obvious plant like obama

I said from day one, this Pope will be to the Catholic Church what Obama is to our country.
A disaster. -Tom

From 1999:

Bishop: Islam Expanding Conquests

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Islam is driving into predominantly Christian
countries in a new campaign of expansion and conquest, a bishop at a
Vatican synod claimed Wednesday in a warning to his European
colleagues.

Giuseppe Germano Bernardini, archbishop of Izmir in Turkey, spoke at a
synod of European bishops on what he said was Islam’s growing
challenge to Christianity, even on its home ground.

``The ‘domination’ has already started with petrodollars, used not to
create jobs in poor countries in North Africa and the Middle East, but
to build mosques and cultural centers in Christian countries ...
including Rome, center of Christianity,’’ Bernardini declared.

``Who cannot see in this a clear program of expansion and
reconquest?’’ he asked.

The dire tone of his warning contrasted with repeated overtures to the
Islamic world by Pope John Paul II, whose comments on Islam frequently
stress the values it shares with Christianity.

The archbishop was one of several at the synod to express frustration
in dealing with the Islamic world, however. Others in the weeklong
session have spoken of the need for cooperation between Muslims and
Christians.

Bernardini suggested the church call a synod specifically on the theme
of Islam in predominantly Christian countries.

As a first, practical step, he said, Catholics must see to it that
none of their churches are ceded to Muslims for practice of their
faith.
