Right on cue. Cardinal Marx said exactly the same thing a few days ago, so we knew this was coming. This is the lavender pontificate and it's the end game for homosexuals in the hierarchy.
The above words from Francis are a part of what the Catechism says. Here's the bit he left out:
#2359Homosexual persons are called to chastity. By the virtues of self-mastery that teach them inner freedom, at times by the support of disinterested friendship, by prayer and sacramental grace, they can and should gradually and resolutely approach Christian perfection.
And this:
#2357Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. It has taken a great variety of forms through the centuries and in different cultures. Its psychological genesis remains largely unexplained. Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered." They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.
As always, he talks as we're in the midst of some sort of pink pogrom against homosexuals when in fact it's Christians who are under the hammer. In the midst of the current lavender onslaught against the family and those who support it, how about a word of support for Christians (like Kim Davis) who are discriminated against for refusing to buckle under the threats and intimidation from the militant homosexuals?
The Church should apologize and compensate the boys that homosexual priests molested. If were serious about stopping molestation it would ban homosexuals from the clergy. Won’t happen with this Jesuit Pope.
Lonely alter boy syndrome?
Homosexuals who pretended to be priests should apologize to Catholics and everyone whose lives they harmed.
should apologize
Has the Catholic Church as a whole (not certain individuals) actively discriminated against homosexuals on something not tied to a homosexual act?
Dear Homosexuals,
I am sorry you chose a lifestyle of deviance and depravity.
He in theory ought to be in the business of winning souls.
He doesn’t seem to know, winning souls to what?
What he is offering and what he ought to be offering, life eternal, sonship and daughtership with the Father of the Universe, are so completely out of synch with one another it boggles the mind.
I think he can’t sell what he doesn’t know. He sees the Christian life as a branch of political philosophy, rather than an ongoing walk with the Father.
The papal conclave should apologize to the world for voting this clown in.
They already have been banned. However, gay bishops (and sympathizing bishops) continue to let them in.
This clown and I do mean clown is just another progressive who snaked his way into the big pile of money and land the Vatican has.....I have no respect for the original bankers I E : the catholic church....what a side show with a truly sad clown this francis guy....apologize to men who subjugate little boys and warp the beauty of hetero intimacy. How much more decadence will come from this money prostitute while Cardinal Bernard Law shuffled molester’s around....screw the Vatican and there false pope...he is a piece of trash and he prove’s it again and again and again. IMHO.
AMEN!!!
This Pope is quite a Marxist.
The interval between idiotic droolings is getting shorter and shorter.
Maybe he thinks it is the Christians that are throwing the homosexuals off the roofs. Maybe someone needs to straighten out this senile old man.
The apology-fest has been going on since Vatican II....
Folks, really....ALL of this comes DIRECTLY from Vatican II. It’s time to wake up to the fact that this is not just about Francis!
You have to wonder if this guy has ever even OPENED a Bible.
Perhaps the Pope should read the bible. Let him start with these 4 verses from the NLT version:
Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13
1 Corinthians 6:9
1 Timothy 1:10
If ANY Christian has put down or marginalized another because of lifestyle, religion, race, etc. they should be sorry. Period. But at the same time, disagreeing with another because of lifestyle or religion or any other matter they goes against our faith is not marginalizing, nor is it hate. He needs to understand that and I’m sure he does.
