****You idiot, mr. pope, we are to discern right and wrong and discourage the wrong while encouraging the right. mr. pope, we cannot determine who will go to Hell or Heavenit is this, mr. pope, that the judging reference was originally meant.****
Exactly. This heretical use of not “judging” someone is a sinners get out of jail free card. The Father WILL be judging however.

Since I have not personally marginalized anyone, I feel no need to start issuing apologies.

It’s unchristian, but I hate and detest this fool. He needs to be chased out before he does any more unthinkable damage.

This is the last straw. No, Im not a sedevacantist, but Francis has shown himself to be an enemy of the Catholic Faith, of natural law and of Christian civilization. Once again, he quotes the 1993 Catechism that says homosexuals should not be discriminated against (a line subject to broad interpretation) but studiously avoids quoting the Catechism's teaching: "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered" (#2357). When we join Francis' June 26 words with the two Vatican Synods and Amoris Laetitia, it appears Francis' entire papacy is bent on establishing a perverse Novus Ordo of Catholic morality. This latest statement will only further embolden the already too-bold homosexual activists who have spent the last three decades weilding a relentless public relations campaign that Christianity is the great oppressor. The damage Francis' reckless words will cause is incalculable. His treatment of homosexuals is so even-handed that it's underhanded. - john vennari

This Pope will next be appologizing for the Crusades, and slavery. The socialist element in the Church has taken social(ist)-responsibility to new levels. I have my doubts that this guy is Cathalism’s Man closest to God; some where his Church will one day again find The Ten Commandants - and discover it is not multiple choice.

Puts a new spin on The Peter Principle, huh? That, Sir, is one of the finest double entendre I've ever read!
Both meanings dead on!

The more this Pope speaks, the more I think that Pope Benedict was forced out. When he was elected and I learned that Francis was a Jesuit from Argentina, I thought “Oh crap”. Even though I’m not Catholic, I knew that combination was trouble.
I have great respect for Conservative Catholics and the “traditional” Catholic Church, so I don’t want to offend any Catholics on FR. I honestly think Benedict was forced out and there is something nefarious going on behind the scenes at the Vatican.
Oh, how i miss Benedict. There was no question that he was a faithful Christian.

Francis: Christians must apologize to gay people for marginalizing themSorry Pope Pancho, but that ain't happening.
Militant perverts are off the list of people I can ever respect.
By the way, do you know any traditional Christian Church I can join?

"Who are we to judge them?" he asked, reframing his famous phrase from 2013 into the plural. "
This is straw man argument that dodges the issue. We can judge ungodly behavior without judging the individual in the manner reserved for God. Francis always avoids the question - is homosexual behavior a sin that needs repented from? The bible provides a clear answer which he avoids like a plague.

“By the way, do you know any traditional Christian Church I can join?”
The Orthodox Church looks better every day. Working on my wife now. She’s a cradle Catholic so it’s hard to leave. She put up with Francis’ heretical statements until about a year ago but is now ready to make the move. Or at least find a Traditional Latin Rite Church that has a priest that teaches the truth of the faith. How many faithful Catholics have left the Church as the result of this character we will never know. He’s loved by pro-abortion “Catholics” and despised by the majority of faithful Catholics. Most will not admit it but it’s fact.
