I believe in Big Government, the Nanny Almighty, Creator of welfare and entitlements;
and in Unions too, our only other Lord,
That were conceived by Marx and Lenin, born under communist thugs, slashed under Ronald Reagan, were declared dead, and thought buried.
Obama returned us to welfare lifestyles; for eight years our economy sunk again into obscurity;
Obama ascended into luxury, and sitteth at the right hand of Hillary, the Nanny Almighty; from thence they shall come to judge their minions and their slaves.
I believe in the EPA, the Human Rights Commissions, the Labor Commissions, the forgiveness of leftist felonies, the resurrection of gay rights courts and entitlements everlasting.
Amen.

I doubt she ever cracked a Bible...And by the dull and infantile way she writes, precious few books, period.

If that doesn’t convince you, then I concede the argument.

We will find the truth when in front of Christ.

The only difference is the the targets will be armed and it will be much more difficult for the fascists to take control.

The D’s are not the evildoers and the R’s the good guys riding to the rescue. Both are frauds and hustlers, w/the small difference between them one of degree. Believing otherwise is a fantasy.

You should have put a sarcasm tag after your post. That is unless you were serious. You don’t have to have a “Red Cross” emplazoned on a sheild to be a “Christian Army”. The Catholic Church supported Orthodox Franks over Arian Visigoths centuries before Islam was even born as a Faith. Voila! Arianism is eventually crushed by force. Charlemagne executed pagan cheiftains who failed to convert to Christianity....this had nothing to do with Islam. In 392 (shortly after Christianity became the state religion of the Byzantines) Theodosius outlawed paganism. Over the next century force was used to drive all forms of Paganism out of the Empire until for all practical purposes it could not show itself in public.

Anyone who thinks thinks that Orthodox Christianity has spread (and remained dominant) SOLELY on the basis of its conversionary power is ignorant, delusional, or both.

The Teutonic Knights of centuries later did the same thing. But the author’s story is, as was said upthread, made up.

"For many, there is a deep-seated political hatred, racism, and bigotry hidden behind the guise of Christianity..."

Um, actually, no.

***The Catholic Church supported Orthodox Franks over Arian Visigoths centuries before Islam was even born as a Faith.***
Simply because a church supports an army does not mean that army is fighting Christ’s battles. All churches supported the USA in 1941.

Constantine had Christian troops not to spread the Gospel but to affirm his hold on the Empireship as Caesar. Long after he was dead Julian the Apostate tried to revive paganism and supress Christianity, He was later killed by Persian non-Christian invaders.
The Arians captured Gaul, Spain. It took ONE PRIEST to begin the disolving of the Arian empire. Within 100 years all of the Aryans were Trinitarians.
Not every battle was a religious one. Many were strictly political.

Meanwhile in the East, the Byzantines began to have serious problems with the followers of Mohammed when the king called for help from the West, and the Crusades were born.

***Theodosius outlawed paganism.*** And with it the sleezyness of the Pagan religions disappeared including the tossing of criminals to wild beasts along with Gladiator combats.
WHEN was the last time the emasculated priests of Attis had their blood letting ceremony when new converts whacked off very important parts of their bodies?
When was the last time the priests of Baal slaughtered infants.
When was the last time the Druids encased men in cages and burned them alive like ISIS does today.

There are times when a church cannot be neutral. Look what happened in Russia, China, Spain, Mexico in the 1930s.

I married into a Catholic family and recently went through classes to convert. The classes were mostly taught by a man of Irish extraction and an Italian lady. There were three black couples taking classes, several of Italian heritage (this church is in a pretty heavily Italian area) two Hispanic couples and the rest white except one man had his wife to be taking classes, and she was from Thailand originally.
I can’t see that it gave much of an appearance of racism. The lady dancing in church when Teddy died wasn’t a racist, and I am sure there were plenty in church and outside who sympathized with her, but that is in pretty poor taste and would never happen in any church I’ve ever been in. Of course I started out in a Baptist church, so she definitely wouldn’t have danced.

There are good people ALL OVER THE WORLD.
My brother-in-law was brought up Baptist and my oldest friend was brought up Baptist but changed to Presbyterian because the home she and her husband bought was outside of a town with NO Baptist churches anywhere near. The church was Presbyterian.

I once asked her what the theological differences between Baptists and Presbyterians were and she had no clue. No one here seems to know either. It SEEMS as if the differences lie in the "fluff" issues, NOT in anything theological.

Well, aside from papal authority.

I've NEVER seen dancing in a Catholic Church and I've been going to Mass, now daily Mass, for too many decades to put here. Lawks! I can't beLIEVE how old I am.

FReegards!

Someone needs to inform her that the world would have an immeasurably higher amount of ugly in it without Christianity.

That started in the Clinton Administration, up close and personal. But it has always been the case that the elite hate real Christians. They love liberal Christians who deny the faith and hate real Christians. That’s okay. We know the ending of this battle. They lose.
