There is one thing. I’m willing to accept as Christian, anyone who says they are a Christian, within limits, of course. After all, I could be wrong about the meanings of this passage, or that.

The most important of these limits is belief in the Resurrection. Without the Resurrection, Christianity is nothing. Paul says as much in his writings.

Agreed. And those who have usurped power in the Vatican incredibly do NOT believe in it - which is the reason for our agitation with them.

It goes deeper though, from those outside the Church who inserted these moles to further their own agenda, but for now we'll leave it there.
