With Final Words, Christian Girl Begs Forgiveness for ISIS for Killing Her
The National Catholic Register ^ | 5/23/16 | Matthew Archbold

The young daughter of an Iraqi Christian family burned alive by ISIS used her final moments in her mother's arms to beg forgiveness for her killers.

Jihadists reportedly arrived at the family's home in Mosul seeking to collect a fine that the Muslims charge Christians called "Jaziya." They told the mother that the family must pay instantly or evacuate the home. The mother simply begged for a few moments as her 12 year old daughter was in the shower. They did not wait. Instead, they immediately set the house ablaze.

The girl was severely burned in the fire. Her mother did get her outside the house but the girl died just a few hours later in a local hospital. The little girl died in her mother's arms. Her last words were "forgive them."

The plight of Christians in the Middle East has long been ignored. This should not be. Especially by Christians. I pray for the family of this little girl. I pray for her soul. I pray for those committing violence against Christians. I also can't help but wonder if, as a parent, I would have the strength to forgive. I do not know that I would.

This girl was a saint; I am not a saint. I do not give a damn what happens to her murderer. I know I should be inspired by this girl, but I am not. I don't think these towelheads are worth the effort.

By the time the world wakes up and snaps to attention, the resulting released rage might leave no Muslim alive on the planet.

Another Christian with absolutely no clue about the concept of forgiveness.

Poor girl.

I’m not sure the culture that can’t even get who should go to what bathroom is capable of that. I think it might just be a long slide, with the Islamists capitualating to the secular humanists eventually.

I see Christianity growing in so many other places. Perhaps the West has given up on God, so He is giving up on them. For example, I have travelled to Vietnam several times. On Sundays in the South, I see the churches literally overflowing with people during services. They fill the steps and courtyards the churches are so packed.

One only needs to read our media to see the horrors of
legal abortion,
sanctioning of homosexual "unions" (I REFUSE to call them marriages.),
fornication made fun, good and necessary,
movies where sex is obligatory for us all to watch
divorce is considered JUST fine.
Speaking of which:

DIVORCE and REMARRIAGE:
Luke 16:18 is a very bold, straightforward saying that seems to settle the issue quickly: "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and whoever marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery."

What could be more clear than this?

No wonder Henry VIII left the Catholic Church. He made "divorce-remarriage" a SPORT!

I don’t believe this. I believe that it’s inflammatory and derogatory fodder for the haters...whichever side, and justification for more hatred and violence on whichever side.

Bless the child.

Lest we forget, Paul of Tarsus was breathing out murder against followers of Jesus before his encounter on the way to Damascus.

I pray this precious child’s testimony will be used by God to melt the heart of some of these wicked men.

And. She went directly to heaven.

Yep - we sometimes miss that salient point as we get hung up in the evil in the world around us. Just as David's son was taken from him appalls some that God would cause a child to die to punish the child's father, the "hidden" cherry is that the child went directly to God's loving embrace - for eternity and without having to endure the evils of the world.

We should forgive the ISIS terrorists. We should also kill every single one of them, but, once they are dead, we should move on with life instead of wallowing in hatred toward evil.

Similarly, we should forgive Obama. We have to repeal every last vestige of his destructive legacy, but then we should move on with life and almost but not quite forget he even existed. The parasites among us need to learn from their experiment with socialism. Beyond that lesson, however, life is too beautiful to drown ourselves in recriminations once we are safe from that thug.

“And IF HE REPENTS you must forgive him.”

See any repentance? I didn’t.

Reasonable people have already seen enough of this sub-human ideology.

The list is now growing to include anyone who empathizes, sympathizes, votes for, aids, abets, excuses, or even begs for mercy for these sub-human, mentally retarded, brain damaged, muslim savages.

Understood. Yet, on the cross, without their repentance Jesus prayed the Father to forgive.
