“By His stripes we were healed” (1 Peter 2:24, Isaiah 53:5).
Because of the divine exchange at the cross, we have “divine health” which means Jesus took our broken bodies and we got his healthy body.

Your interpretation of these passages citing Isaiah and Peter disagrees with the meaning of the authors (who are consistent with each other) of these inspired words, thereby twisting their intent to teach the meaning of reconciliation of mankind with God.

(1) In either passage the phrase "by his stripes" refers to the literal chastening of the Lamb of God to the point of physical death in the physical, natural dimension only. It cannot possibly figuratively apply to the heavenly dimension of spiritual and eternal life/death.

(2) In these passages the primary meaning in the Biblical context of "we are healed" or "you were healed" refers only to the spiritual realm, to the dismissal of Sin as a governing principle (to transgress, to commit iniquity) of human behavior, that demands death for the individual in three dimensions: physical (union of soul and human spirit in one body), spiritual (union of a human's spirit with The God's Spirit), and eternal (ongoing existence of the individual being in the realm of Heaven rather than in Hell and eventually the Lake of Fire).

(3) The healing thus is deliverance from spiritual death and eternal death, not from physical death or consequences of sin being involved in temporal processes.

(4) This is the correct figurative-literal interpretation of Isaiah's prophecy by Peter, as fulfilled in the Gospel of the death, resurrection, ascension, reconciliation, salvation, justification, sanctification, and eternal Absolute Life with God.

(5) "All Scripture has one primary interpretation and only one to which its context lends itself." Scripture has only one meaning! Every statement of Scripture has only one sense. There are many applications which are often made. These seem to apply to certain circumstances in life so (that, sic) the individual believes that God is speaking to him alone. But in such cases, it does not follow that this may mean the same thing to someone else, nor that the application is proper. Because a verse of Scripture stands out of a passage and seems to relate to certain present circumstances, it does not mean that it is God's specific direction for the reader. It may be what God wants. But it can be only attributed as direct guidance from God if in fact the circumstances in the context are similar to the circumstances in the reader's life. Secondary applications which can be made legitimately are in keeping with the context, similar circumstances, and the one specific, intended meaning." (Wittman, F., "How to Mature in Christ -- First Stage: Babes," Revised Edition, Morris Publishing, Kearney, NE (1995) p. 11)(Copies may be obtained from Happy Heralds, Inc., P. O. (6) Your interpretation makes the (a) literal chastening of the Son of God standing in for us to receive the consequences of our sins, as equivalent to (b) the literal relief of our bodies--apparently exclusive of or souls and spirits--from temporal ills in the ongoing physical dimension. This is not a legitimate primary interpretation or secondary application, and it obviously does not work except perhaps in anecdotal instances without statistical confirmation.

To believe in your doctrine ties the individual and The God to promises not present in the Bible, and pretends to free the individual to exercise his/her own will by causing God to conform His Prescriptive Will to ours, rather than vice versa.

This is, of course and obviously, a Satanic approach contrary to the way God has historically and in all His Covenants dealt with His created beings. Your conclusions are not truthful nor faithful to the Biblical context.

I hope you can come to grips with this; but if not, it is written to advise other readers who may question your and FB's approach to this subject. It is clear that neither of you are well enough advanced in the spiritual dimension to be offering this kind of instruction to other developing Scriptural babes.

Your points one and two seem to be contradictory.

Who says “the primary meaning in the Biblical context of ‘we are healed’ or ‘you were healed’ refers only to the spiritual realm”?
