Ten Points of God's Healing
05-23-16 | Frank Broom

Posted on 05/23/2016 4:25:24 PM PDT by Frank Broom

This article is to those that might be going through a physical affliction and wondering if it is God's will for you to be healed. I just want to encourage you that it is God's will that you receive your healing. Let me make these points to help convince you of that because I want you convinced so that nobody can talk you out of it. First, In Matthew 15:26 Jesus said healing is the children's bread. What is bread, it is your right. Every child has a right to be fed. In fact, it a father's obligation to feed his children. And Jesus said it(healing) is the children's bread. Second, God the Father is the most loving father and in Luke 11:11-13 the point Jesus is making is that if you being evil know how to do good for your children how much more God. James 1:17 says, every good gift comes from God. And Act 10:38 says, God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and power and with the Holy Ghost and power Jesus went about doing good healing all that were oppressed of the devil. So, healing is a good gift from God. I want to make this point because there are those that say these bodies are just dust and they don't matter to God. But, yet we see God anointing Jesus to heal these dust bodies and he did not turn anyone away. Now, what natural parent if they had a child out playing and the child fell and was bleeding badly tell them, "Now baby don't worry about it your body is just dust." NO, a good parent would pick that child up rush them in the house, nurse their wounds, put a bandage on them, dry there tears, and do everything in their ability to make it better. Well, how much more God. Third, Hebrews 1:3 says, Jesus is the express image of God and Jesus said he only did what he saw the Father do so everytime Jesus healed it was the Father's will and not one time did he turn anyone away. Not one time did he say, "God is using this to teach you something." Not one time did he say, "I'm sorry, but it's not God's will. You know all those religious ideas people come up with. Not one time did he say no and God does not change Malachi 3:6.

Fourth, God anointed Jesus to heal. Jesus told his disciples to heal. Jesus told believers to heal. So, healing must be one of God's top priorities. Fifth, Jesus was lashed and cut open for your healing Isaiah 53:4,5. He was beaten so badly he didn't even look like himself Isaiah 52:14. Now, how can anyone say that healing is not important to God. Sixth, God has an assignment for all of our lives and without these bodies we can't fulfill them. Seven, Some say that it's more important to be saved than healed. And I agree totally, but God provided for both 1Peter 2:24. If He provided it then He must wants us to have it. Eighth, Jesus said many are sick and sleep(dead) because they don't discern the Lord's body, that it was broken for your healing 1Corinthians 11:24,29,30. People recognize that what Jesus did brought salvation, but they don't realize that what he did brought healing so they don't receive it. Ninth, Everything about Jesus speaks of healing. The lamb in Exodus 12 is a picture of Jesus and notice as a result of eating the lamb everyone was healed Psalm 105:37 (make a note of that from point 8). In Numbers 16 the atonement Aaron made for the people represents what Jesus did for you and I. And in Numbers 21 that serpent on the pole represents Jesus on the cross taking our sins. Notice, in every case it brought HEALING. Tenth, In Acts 5 and 19 God used handkercheifs and even a man's shadow to heal people. Look at God. So, do not let people minimize God's desire for you to receive your healing. And do not let them trivialize what Jesus went through for you to be healed. So, if you are believing then keep believing. God Bless!!!!

So what happens when someone has been seeking healing for decades and hasn’t seen it?

How do you explain that?

How do you explain Joni, Paul, Job?

Why do you demand that God perform for us as we think He should?

And if/when He doesn’t? Then what do you tell people?

That their faith is weak? Non-existant? They have sin in their lives? Generational curses to deal with?

What excuse do you give them for not receiving the healing and what do you tell them to do that will guarantee they’ll get it?

Or do you just throw it back and them and tell them they have to find out for themselves and wash your hands of the matter and tsk-tsk about how unspiritual they are?

“according to the purview assigned by the Lord”

So we seek out the Lord and he guides us instead of helping ourselves. Thanks for conforming what I stated.

“”For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat” (2Th_3:10).

What does that say to you?”

Where in this passage is God removed from the equation to suggest you have to help yourself first as a condition to receive God’s help on that matter instead of seeking God out first and allowing God to work in the situation and provide the work? Where in the passage does God say he won’t help you get work, that you must sidestep him and help yourself as you suggest?

I’ll ask you a question first and then I’ll answer yours. Have you ever seen a trillion dollars?

Your points one and two seem to be contradictory.

Who says “the primary meaning in the Biblical context of ‘we are healed’ or ‘you were healed’ refers only to the spiritual realm”?

To the Pharisees, sinners were “parasites and ne’er-do-wells.” Yet the only people Jesus actually condemned publicly were the Pharisees while Jesus welcomed the “parasites and ne’er-do-wells.”

Jesus was “a friend of publicans and sinners” (Matt 11:19).

Are you aware of Paul’s many pleadings to have the thron in his flesh removed by The Lord, and The Lord answers that His Grace is sufficient for Paul?

You asserted, “The word says everybody is going to die at some point in time, so I don’t understand the point you are trying to make.” some of those in Christ will not die in the sense you pose it. At the Rapture, those who are alive when He comes in the air to get His Church, His Ekklesia, they will be changed into something fitted to eternal living, along with all those who have receive living bodies again, those whom God brings with Jesus from Heaven. What you are pleading applies to those not in Christ, for those in Christ have passed from condemnation unto LIFE.

You turn the eternal redemption and sacrifice, grace, goodness, glory, and power of God into a disgrace and hinder those who would receive from God by “making the word of God of no effect through your tradition” (Mark 7:13).

Nobody knows what that thorn is the flesh was, but it certainly does not negate the Word of God which declares that we are healed by Jesus bloody, broken body as demonstrated by all that were healed by Jesus in the Gospels, in Acts through believers, and today.

Take the issue of ETs, extra-terrestrials: naybobs tell us there is no such thing visiting the Earth. If just ONE is found doing so, the entire premise of none is negated. You want us to believe ALL faithful requests are granted yet the problem of Paul being denied healing because God said His Grace was sufficient negates you premise. Recall that Paul identified the thorn ‘in his flesh’.

Nobody knows what that thorn in the flesh is (possibly unending oppositions and persecutions that created much hurt and frustration “in the flesh” in Paul, as he details extensively earlier in the same book, 2 Corinthians).

Your flawed syllogism is Satan’s carnal way of trying to discount the Word of God, hindering others from receiving what God has for them and failing to glorify God in his goodness, grace, and power. God’s word states emphatically and with many examples that Jesus “healed all that were sick” because he “took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses” - physically (Matt. 8:16-17).

Again, you “make the word of God of no effect through your tradition” (Mark 7:13).

What you just did there is EXACTLY the point I am trying to make.

Someone exposes you and you turn an attack them. So it’s my fault, eh? I’m nullifying the grace of God because of my *tradition*? You’re blaming me for God not working in my life like you put Him in a box and think He should be working, and instead of recognizing that your theology is all whacked out, you blame me.

OK, answer man. Tell me why I haven’t been healed then.

For 30+ years I have been praying for healing. I’ve been anointed and prayed for more times than I can count. Nothing has manifested in all that time. On the contrary, it’s only gotten progressively worse.

Why isn’t it happening? You tell me.

Here is a way that your pleadings could be an aid to satan’s little season: by insisting that those NOT healed are somehow deficient, and by insisting ALL who call in good faith should be healed, you arrange a scene for satan to substitute his signs and wonders for real work of The Lord. During the Tribulation satan will come with all signs and wonders ...

Circumstances do not negate the Word of God, nor his love and grace. Our inability to explain something does not negate the Word of God. And God’s word is not a box - it is the word that brings us the truth which will set us free. Heaven and earth will pass away but his word will never pass away.

Your situation is between you and God. Many people in the Bible had to wait for the manifestation of their healing. You’ll have to ask God about your situation. Your greatest challenge, as with all of us, is to believe in the goodness and love of God even during adverse circumstances and trust in his promises and let Him root out any bitterness that may have developed.

I never said those who are not healed are somehow deficient.

Pay attention.

Those who seek healing or help from God are hindered by those who “make the word of God of no effect.”

Get it right.

Become part of the solution instead of part of the problem.

That is not an answer. That's a cop-out.

Your greatest challenge, as with all of us, is to believe in the goodness and love of God even during adverse circumstances and trust in his promises and let Him root out any bitterness that may have developed.

And why do you presume to know my mind? Why do you presume that I don't believe in the goodness of God and that I don't trust Him?

Why are you presuming that there's bitterness in me?

You're making a lot of assumptions about where I'm at and what He's doing in me based on how you seem to think He should be working in my outward circumstances.

Without knowing me, you are passing some pretty serious judgments and condemnation on me.

Besides, I'm not the one who's put Him in the box of *He always....* or *He must* as you have here.

Many of us allow for God to work in HIS own way, even if that doesn't include the healing that you clearly think everyone should be getting in the way you think it should be done.

God’s promises are his commitment to his children who he loves. His promises are a reflection of his love, grace, and power. We receive them by grace through faith. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” (Heb 11:6). It is His faith, not ours and we receive His faith by His grace that he has given to us, not by our own goodness or works.

Waiting on God in faith, sometimes for a long time, is something all of us, in one way or the other, have to learn to do.

Ummm, I believe you just tried to shift the ground from would not work to could not work. Why did you do that?

Reread that verse in view of the sense of your questions, OK?

Iscool in verse 7 he says it was a messenger a Satan, a demon. And the reason he said my grace is sufficient is because through his grace Paul he had already given him authority over that devil. What he was saying is what I have done is enough to handle this devil. Thank You!
