(Acts 5)

12 The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon’s Colonnade. 13 No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. 14 Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. 15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. 16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

The miraculous signs that followed in Peter's wake could have easily instilled in him a prideful attitude, but that did not happen. Although Peter was the leader of the Apostles, he was still "out in the trenches" as an itinerant preacher, and from this passage, we see that he was a healer too. God allowed Peter this eloquence and healing power in order to validate his Message. This was a fulfillment of Jesus statement to His Apostles that "Signs would Follow" them.

The miracles, however, did not come from Peter. The healings, the miracles, the prophecies, and even the effectiveness of Peter's preaching were from the Holy Spirit.
