My certainty is called “faith”.
Nothing says you have to have it, too.
I have my certainty of faith too...from the Bible, Apostolic Tradition and the Papacy (which rules on "newer" conundrums such as legalized abortion). Also, ancient times didn't have the "newer" sins like speeding, taking illegal drugs, drunken driving, etc.).
Jesus summed it up: Love God and love each other.
