Sister Carmen Sammut, president of the International Union of Superiors General ...

The mere existence of such a union (union?!) flies in the face of their vows.

The International Union of Superiors General is not a labor union, as some perhaps think.

It is a canonically recognized religious institute of superiors general created by the Vatican in 1965, implementing the Council decree on Consecrated Life, Perfectae Caritatis.

YES, it does.

The Catholic Church decided a LONG time ago to follow the Jewish tradition of MALE men-of-the-cloth. Nothing wrong with it THEN; nothing wrong with it NOW.
