Let's see....smells and bells...Incense has been used in religious ceremonies virtually forever....means nothing, just gets attention and smells great....bells merely draw attention to a more important event in the overall ceremony. Catholics aren't the only ones who have Mary, so do you....you just don't appreciate her as much as Catholics do...too bad.
Catholics do have the "my way or the highway" attitude because we are right....Christ Himself founded our church and we have no need for Protestants to attempt to change HIS church.
I disagree bro, but hey, what else is new? I usually avoid religions that adamantly claim to be the ONLY one. Besides, I think that is like committing the sin of presumption. I like to commit the sin of presumption, but only if reference to assurance of salvation.

I disagree bro, imagine that. I am not a Protestant. Christians, as opposed to "religious people," have been their own popes for a whole lot longer than 400 years. There was always a remnant who don't have to try and bluff their way into Heaven. I will continue to fellowship with people who have assurance of salvation. I don't know if you have any assurance of salvation, and without trying to speak for the other addressees, I would venture to guess that they would agree with me. They read scripture for themselves, and don't rely on corrupt people to interpret for them.
