Well guess what, as usual you were told wrong....it is CHRIST who keeps the Catholic religion from erring....as He promised.

So if the pope decided that remarried people can now receive communion, then that's not error?

Does that mean that the church was in error before when it didn't allow remarried people to receive communion?
