All Protestants want to be their "own Pope", but it never works.

All Cathoics want to complain about their latest Pope, but it he really doesn't care what the little people think.

The Catholic church, unlike our country, is not controlled by what the little people think....in face we have nothing to do with it. The church was established by Christ and follows Him and His teachings I, as a Catholic, don't get to vote on church dogma, it was pretty well set a couple thousand years ago. The Pope, by and large, runs the everyday, mundane business operations of a VERY large organization. Other than the normal activities of a priest/Bishop saying Mass, P.R. appearances, blessing folks and kissing babies....his life has to be pretty much that of any other Bishop (he is the bishop of Rome you know).
