Unfortunately the Jesus you mention is not the Jesus of the Christian church. Gully God and fully human a part of the trinity. That is not the Jesus of the Mormon church
You are correct sir. They engage in cult speak. You must totally and completely define every term you use, because Biblical terms conjure up a whole different idea in cultist's heads.
I generally don't talk about spiritual things with them. I usually just tell them what nice patriotic, law abiding people they are, and that is mostly true. I will give them that, but then I just say I do not, under any circumstances, accept any other publications except the Bible. Then we talk about other issues.
